How do you get the Catalyst for the Borealis?
Wondering how you get this catalyst. I have been killing things with the gun but so far no Catalyst and it just says the kill things.

Its an open world drop from anywhere it looks like. I got it to drop in Tangled Shores doing public events using a bow. It dropped pretty much within the same hour I got the borealis.

Edited by Peloquinsoul: 6/6/2018 11:05:16 AMIt's one of the drop from anywhere ones so no real way of trying to get it beyond playing the game. Why we can't actively pursue some of the catalysts seems like an incredibly bad idea. Also, you don't have to be using the weapon, you don't even need it on you, just have it unlocked.

Shoot bad guys in the face. Make sure you pick up yellow triangle. Just RNG afaik.

1 ReplyI got mine when I was patrolling Mars, I don't remember doing anything specific like public event, escalation protocal or actual patrols. I just remember seeing it flash up on the screen and wondering what it was. This was the first week in the DLC.
