Nope all of that is still not worth a preorder. Heck I'm not even sure if it's worth a purchase at all. That "reveal" only made me more perturbed. "We changed all this stuff" HOW? I have more unanswered questions than anything else. I am on the brink of just giving up all hope that this company actually cares for it's players.
Edit: *sheesh so many people think that I am telling them how to spend their money or for them not to buy it. I never said that. If you want to frivolously throw money at something before really knowing anything about it do so. I'm not your daddy and if you want to blindly give someone your money before fully knowing what you're getting then do so. Me, I have learned my lesson from this company and it could be the most hyped up two tokens and a blue xp throttled eververse expansive thing to date. There's a slight chance that it's actually decent meaningful and substantial content. The best way to know is wait a few weeks after it releases and see the real reviews.
Additional edit: It's not about the price or wanting something for free it's about value and informed decision making.

3 RepliesI’ll just leave this here https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/13672/7_Introducing-Eververse-Trading-Company
-
5 RepliesIll buy forsaken, but its annoying to me that I have to pay for things that should have been at D2 at launch.
-
7 RepliesWasn't the entire point of introducing Eververse the fact that it was supposed to pay for seasonal events? But apparently the tens of millions of dollars in revenue from that was only enough to create microtransaction events...
-
1 ReplyIf I had a dollar for ever time someone posted this rant since D1 .... Quit lying you know you’ll buy it, quit wasting your time crying on a video game forum. Is there no game you can play that will keep you from posting here?

2 RepliesEdited by Rilla: 6/5/2018 9:31:48 PMI will wait for the reviews to come in. Bungie lost my trust penny pinching with eververse in destiny1 and tricked me into thinking destiny 2 would be amazing. With 2 lackluster dlcs and the vanilla version an abomination i refuse to preorder or buy on launch. Forget #2tokensandablue the way this game is headed i won’t be surprised if forsaken is #2storymissionsandastrike

23 RepliesEdited by K405NK0NFU510N: 6/6/2018 2:33:21 PMTo all of you, including the OP, who says they're not going to buy it, OK, Good, Bye! It'll weed out the Idiots from this Toxic Community so we can finally have a decent one again. Also, it'll weed out the Tryhards and Entitled little whiny babies from the Game itself so the player that actually enjoy it can have more fun.

4 RepliesEdited by Xenomorph: 6/6/2018 12:27:46 AMUNPOPULAR OPINION Most of you here will be buying the DLC and or Annual pass. Stop kidding yourselves. I am the first one to put my hand up and criticize Bungie on a lot of things, I've been vocal. But. I still enjoy certain aspects of the game, and that's why I play. If you still play, you'll be buying the DLC... Mark my words.

4 RepliesThen dont buy it :)

14 RepliesOnce you kids get older you’ll find out that $80 is nothing!!!! I’ve blown 60$ on lottery tickets in one day sheesh. And I have a mortgage. I spent 60 on cod ww2 and I have 4 hrs played maybe. If you think it’s a bad choice and you won’t be buying it that’s fine. The need to voice this is ..... disturbing. What purpose does it serve??? Help me understand. Thanks
-
I'm buying. Who's with me?
-
5 Repliessorry. I’m getting the $80 version. #WAKANDAFOREVER

1 ReplyEdited by BoomboxCollosus: 6/6/2018 1:27:23 PMYou can't have an opinion around the Fanboys. They're a lot like crack whores. ut down the pipe you crazy b******!!

9 RepliesI get that WoW has more content, but no one bats an eye to pay $20 a month just to play the game while still having tons of micro transactions etc. Lol. This game is pennies compared to WoW for a year, and this is just my opinion, but this game has more fun replay value compared to a game like WoW.
-
7 RepliesBungie are just monetising the free events, which were supposed to be covered by Eververse. The annual pass is nothing more than naked greed.
-
7 RepliesNot touching the annual pass. If it was included with the next DLC at 35 dollars I might have said ok that's a reasonable cost. The expansion plus a year of content. Then I see that it's two separate sets of nonsense. Not touching either until I see a trustworthy review i.e. NOT IGN, GameSpot, Destiny streamers or Eurogamer. The hype shills have caused enough people to buy overpriced and overhyped crap as it is. Their word is about as trustworthy as the snake that sold Adam an apple!
-
4 RepliesIf we’re paying for live events, then wtf is Eververse funding?
-
2 Replieswhy should we have to pay thirty pounds extra for items that should be in game
bungie:ok we have made. An actually decent game now

fanbase:"interesting...

bungie:you have to buy the dlc though...

OK cool

bungie: but you have to pay thirty pounds extra for items and endgame content
Mostly correct except the last part. You see bungies credibility is so bad among most gamers and gaming news outlets that if this next dlc is a huge let down its game over. They lost 85% of their 8 million players from launch over D2's botched release, micro transactions and bad story/dlc content. It's do or die for this franchise. That doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be great but I'd say it's a safe bet. I'd be willing to go as far as saying this next dlc might be the best in the franchise's history. If it beats out The Taken King then that statement will be true. The sheer size and amount of content being promised plus the tone of the game itself suggests it. I'm not a blind fanboy. This is their business at stake and they really need to wow everyone, especially ppl that don't trust them anymore. My 2 cents
-
I agree with you. 100% correct.
-
14 RepliesHaha I hope this shit bombs massively. -blam!- this garbage game and it's cash grab company
-
2 RepliesPeople are bums. Those who say get a job.. screw off. People have jobs but they understand the con this game is. This game wasn't worth the sum of all the content. Base game, season pass, new DLC and annual pass plus all the silver if you wanted cosmetics. Just the fact it took this long and this many expansions to get just new sub classes. Woah a huge increase to the TWO options you get to pick already. dumbed down tree, WOW did the same thing and they are making vanilla WOW again. Its not about money its about content and the fact something is priced at such a higher value than what its actually worth. Smart people understand.
-
All hope is lost anyways..move on!
-
4 RepliesI won't get fooled again!! In fact, I will not even buying it on launch day. I'm planning on playing some other new releases and maybe I can get back to Destiny 2 at a later date. Like, when everything is on sale. If Spiderman, RDR2 and Anthem turn out to be good, it might be a long while before I get back to a Destiny game. Meanwhile, I'll play Warmind for a couple more weeks till Defiance 2050 drops.
-
Not buying any of the new stuff revealed. I’ll take my free changes Forsaken should’ve been free for how much shit they’ve screwed up since launch.
-
12 RepliesAnnual fee for seasonal events and eververse LoL What an absolute shit show
-
Think EA must take this game over no horse shit for extra stuff
