I don’t know what it is about the mode but there’s something about it that just makes it feel amazing to me. Perhaps it’s the Competitive round-based gameplay in a Quickplay style mode? I don’t know. I just really hope that BNG fully implements this. Plus, I played 1.6 Showdown Matches and I(not being a good Sniper) managed to get 14 kills(I want to get the Crucible leg Ornament. Also, and this isn’t related to Showdown, but I really enjoy how you need to get lots of kills with a variety of weapons to unlock the Ornaments. I feel like it encourages those who don’t really feel comfortable using certain weapons to branch out and practice with said weapons. (Like me. I’m a good Sniper[just not in pvp], and I don’t really like Pulse Rifles[except Graviton that thing hits like a truck and is practically a scout rifle].) So because BNG did this, I’m getting more experience with these guns. I really like what you did here in both of these fields, Bungie, please continue in this good direction with Y2.
