I've raised 5 tickets to get my Destiny game to work and no one has even tried to help.
I would like to sue the company for not allowing me to play the game I bought for $100.
What's my 1st step? Just get a lawyer? Would it be better to escalate within Bungie somehow or outsource my complaint? Maybe start with BBB?
Thank you.

Edited by dc213baseball: 6/5/2018 12:20:56 AMThe closest you’ll come to sue Bungie is if you go to their headquarters & the receptionist name is Sue! You waived all rights to a lawsuit when you accepted the EULA/ToS agreement before you even created your character.

If you were serious, your first step would NOT be asking a bunch of idiots in a game forum. If you are actually serious enough to attempt something like that, your first step would be to attempt to deal with Bungie on the matter. Looks like that has been taken care of. Second step would be giving a lawyer a call, set an appointment and get that lawyers advice. I hope you are willing to spend a good sum of money to try and prove a point though.

1 ReplyWhy do people keep bringing up the BBB? They're not a government, or regulatory agency, and have no authority to actually do anything.
-
2 RepliesI would recommend explaining what is going on, what errors are you getting etc. maybe someone can help

1 ReplyYour first step is to read the TOS you agreed to before you first played the game and realize you have zero merit to sue, and a lawyer will laugh at you.
-
Yes, the very first step is to hire a lawyer.

3 RepliesYou know that buying and playing this game you have agreed to their Terms of Service correct?

2 RepliesEdited by burritosenior: 6/4/2018 11:49:23 PMWe can see your post history, you know. You've only made 2 threads aside from this one. One you didn't place in #help until you edited it later, so obviously you didn't get a response. The second thread was just asking for a phone number, to which you were given the correct answer that #help is where you need to go for help. In your first ever thread you said you've posted many questions and have never gotten a response. In the second thread you said you've already posted three threads. And here, in your third thread, you're saying you want to sue a multi million dollar company and are asking for legal advice on an online forum, without consulting either a lawyer or even reading the terms of service which quite literally spell out your options. Why not just try asking your question appropriately, stop fibbing, and post a detailed question in its own thread?
