Many times, I have witnessed Hunters one hit someone with their melee ability, whilst with other classes, it takes 2 hits to kill a Hunter. It is mainly due to the wormhusk crown which gives them a small boost to health AND health regen when they dodge, for which they can do twice in a minute. Hunters are supposed to be the weakest of the three classes in terms of strength and health. Surely the titans should get that boost to health perk as they are, you know....TITANS? Also, when hit with the Hunter melee ability, you get suppressed, your radar disappears, and your vision gets disrupted as you get staggered. Hunters should not have a melee ability which staggers you! That should be the Titan's ability as they are meant to be the strong ones!

Um the titans can two hit melee you and they have faster melee in game, but no one is complaining. But sure, blame the hunters and the only useful exotic they have.

1 ReplyEdited by The Last Word: 6/5/2018 10:52:44 PMYeah its not possible to one hit somebody with any melee in the game
-
Why is it that everyone who complains about Hunters is a Titan?? They forget all their supers and abilities are useful, Fist of Havoc is the seepage of everyone’s anal glands in the crucible because what’s worse than a super that can kill you through cover, the floor, multiple levels of a building, well above the impact zone and doesn’t count as used until the AoE has been done?? Literally all that listed, with the ability to roam with it, but no let’s just complain about the Hunter roll that NEEDS an EXOTIC to be decent. And I don’t even use the Crown, grow up Titans exist in this game, most of the things that are broken in the crucible are something linked to Titans. I won’t have it when I have to use my Exotic slot and Titans just need to exist.

1 ReplyMan shut up about the crown, who cares. You want to bungie to nerf them so you stomp over every hunter u see. Wipe the snot from your nose and go about your business its just a game
-
Lmao i guys get a barricade that allows u to safely pick up heavy and can almost insta kill prople who walk through it and hunters are broken smh. Also while our melees "seem like" they ohko they dont. But u wanna know what does? Your newly buffed synthoceps.

9 RepliesThese unending pleas for the weakest class in the game to be nerfed. Again. Need to stop.

1 ReplyEdited by ShaxxCousin: 6/4/2018 4:58:10 AMHunters don’t have a one hit melee. Lol. What you witnessed is a Hunter hit someone who was already on the verge of death. And it normally takes 3 hits to kill. Not 2. Sunbreaker Titan bottom tree lets you 2 hit melee. Striker Titan bottom tree regents health every melee kill. Titans are the strong ones.. Every one of their subclasses has a rushing charge move that either blinds, damages over time, or chains. You can just rush with that and one hit melee after. Easy peasy. Add Synthoceps and you’re a melee monster.
-
2 RepliesThe only 2 hit melee is the one Arcstrider ability (only if you kill with it) and I believe sword hilts. Wormhusk doesn't give you a burst of health, it just starts Regen and is stopped after even one shot. You have summoned me.
-
strength doesnt mean having all the good skills...lmao

3 RepliesThe only class that can One-Punch another guardian is the Titan with synthoceps. Look up "DFP synthoceps" on youtube and get your facts straight. Also, disorienting blow on the AS isn't the only melee that disorients targets. The Sentinel gets Shield Bash and the Suppressor Grenade, which both disorient and Supress, respectively. If you lose in a melee fight it's not because there's some kind of hidden conspiracy, it's because either you were mashing the melee button so fast you forgot to stay in lunge distance, which is the same across all classes by default (unless you're using the synthoceps, which give an increase the lunge range 24/7) or you got hit first and didn't bother to run away and re-engage in a different spot.

never in my life did I ever think I'd see a post about hunter melee being too strong. I...I...I can't even
-
Yah I noticed on both My Titan and Warlock I am getting dropped by hunter melee 1 shot the odd time or losing trades. Warlock not so much but Titan melee is still broken feels like you're whiffing unless your standing on the guy or npc, Synthocepts fixes this but you shouldn't have to use up your exotic slot to balance the odd melee exchange??

1 ReplyHunters are sitting too well in the crucible imo. I made a hunter recently and just wreck people easily.
-
5 RepliesAnd Hunters are OP. It's why the Hunters dominate the crucible. It's the meta. Just like so many people are using graviton lance right now. It's not because they like using it, it's because it's currently OP. NO ONE used the graviton lance before the buff. Same goes for Hunters imo. Every try hard team I have gone up against in trials is a full team of arc striders. If my words aren't enough, look at these stats. Look at the WIN RATE and KDA in crucible. The arcstrider and nightstalker clearly dominate ALL the other classes. Hell, I would even back some people and say the gunslinger is underused. These are stats you CANNOT deny. The KDA, WIN RATE, and POPULARITY all have the same relationship. Nightstalker, and Arcstrider are the top two. https://guardian.gg/2/class-stats?platform=console&mode=5&start=2018-01-01&end=2018-05-11

I understand what you are all saying, and yes, I do know that using the synthoceps does allow Titans to one hit someone, but ONLY if they are surrounded, which is highly unlikely, and you usually die when you are surrounded due to team shooting. I am talking about the hunter melee ability in general. Titans should not have to use up an exotic slot just to balance the melee combat. Shield bash and shoulder charge don't actually do anything. Go to 2:14 on this video which also shows the problem with the wormhusk crown. It shows it in a close quarters situation. This is video evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0FFfWSwRGg

Lol hunter melee doesn't suppress you.

2 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 6/3/2018 10:01:38 PMAll class take 3 melee hits to die (without the influence of perks). Hunters can 2 hit only if they got a kill with their charged melee before hand. Titans are the only class in the game capable of one hitting people (with the use of Synthoceps and the Sentinel melee buff after getting a kill). Titans can also disorient people on their Melees if you choose sentinel (Not sure what the melee is called. You should at least make a Hunter before calling them OP.

No need to get angry guys. This is the forums after all where we are ALLOWED and NEED to give personal feedback. This is my personal feedback about my experience. If you don't like it, don't read it. Move on. That's all I am going to say. Just keep playing the game how you want, and we'll have to see what happens. :D

Edited by bhdreams1996: 6/4/2018 7:18:41 AMScrub has flashbacks of d1 blade dancer. Edit* pussy.

And hey, I am with you guys in saying that certain things need to be BUFFED to make it balanced. I don't think nerfing is the answer for some things.
-
I thank you all for the discussion and I am sorry if I sound hostile, I just want to get my points across. It's funny that more people are actually complaining about Hunters than the other classes. That has to say something right? :D

As a void subclass takes three melees to kill a titan...
