I don't know if my account is bugged or i just have the worst luck in all of destiny 2's community, but 54 attempts at escalation protocol hasn't dropped a single sniper or shotgun for me. I really want to believe that this is a bug because i don't believe RNG would be this cruel to anyone. Any advice if there's anything i can do? Update: Got the sniper on my 59th try, i have 91 completions now and still have not gotten a shotgun to drop. Update 2: I guess posting on the forums about this gave me luck, i got it on my 93rd try
