I'm curious. Been waiting for 32 minutes on my last guided game.
Can't they just match me with other players solo queuing after like 10 minutes without a matching fireteam?
*edit : it's about the guided games for the nightfall

Failed concept , just change it to matchmaking already so us casual gamers can actually play this game properly !
-
What a failure it has been! What’s ME Chung got to say about it. It’s her baby and it’s failed.
-
Not enough people playing D2 for this failed concept to work.
-
Bungie needs to get rid of guided games and just do matchmaking.
-
1 ReplyNightfall should just be normal matchmaking currently. Its so easy you just need 3 people.
-
1 ReplyOf course they can’t just matchmake you with other solos. The elitist players would cry about matchmaking for an “endgame” activity.

The LFG (I use the legacy one) in this destiny app gets me a nightfall team in less than 5 mins. Just add me on psn, join the fireteam and we’re in. I quite happily use it for easy stuff like nightfalls. I can specify in the text I won’t be using a mic (no need).
-
Lol I usually give up after like 10 mins and go to the fireteams lfg
-
Use looking for group(LFG). It’s much faster

1 ReplyEdited by Mr.Shickadance: 6/2/2018 10:46:33 PMFace it yo, game was not built for solos attempting to que up together or it would have been fixed months ago. Now PvP having issues? That’s a hot fix over a weekend! Edit: words

1 ReplyAs a guide my times are nearly instantaneous. Never went in as a seeker though

Edited by ElectroHail: 6/2/2018 11:21:35 PMYou should be able to Guide Nightfalls by yourself, without needing a clanmate present

6 Replies‘Guided games why can’t they just matchmake the people in queue that just want more clears and loot’ Because it’s a GUIDED raid, for a team to take you through and teach you when you haven’t done it before, if you just want to get into a raid for completions uses LFG. 🤦♂️

2 RepliesGuided games work great for the nightfall. If you're the seeker you're generally looking at a 10 minute wait and if you're the guide its pretty much instant to find a seeker.
-
I've seen 45 minutes. It's a failed concept.

1 ReplyEdited by Roman: 6/2/2018 5:03:19 PMI've sat in que a few times for 20+ mnts and eventually just gave up I'll occsaionally que, wait a bit, go make me some tea, come back still in que, and leave it what a joke and how it is still "beta" after over a year is beyond me
-
1 ReplyI have often waited over an hour to be placed with a group that is using it as a lazy man LFG. And they don't know the encounter
-
I watch the queue. When it is showing less than a 20 minute wait, I'll jump into it.
-
I once decided to see how long it would go, yes, I know sad on my part. I think it was 30 minutes till I found a fireteam. By that time, I could have LFG'd a group and beat it probably twice.
-
1 ReplyGuided games has been the biggest failure of D2.....and that's saying something. You're better off using the "find fireteam" tab.
-
1 ReplyIt doesnt seem logical to guide a game for some random who potentially has no mic, low light level, no experience and probably quit after 30 minutes into the raid.
-
I tried guided games a few times. Takes way too long. It is faster to find a fireteam on the app.
-
I just open Netflix on my phone while I'm in the que.
-
In all the times I’ve attempted guided games, it’s NEVER taken less than the estimated time, always much much more
-
It shows you how much Bungie are really listening when matchmaking for nightfalls isn't in the game when people having been asking for it for years.
-
Me and my clan used to do guided games all the time in (before Bungie have them quit). We felt bad for everyone their queue time was typically 45 minutes. If you're on Xbox I'll take virtually anyone through NF, let me know if you want help. *Fair warning though* I don't like to game with kids.
