The Community is in an Uproar About the new Faction limitation. idk about you but one of the major incentives to Have 3 characters was to pledge to each Faction and reap the rewards. now you account is restricted to ONE Faction per Account Per Faction Rally. The Only Reason For this is to Stretch out the Grind. Since D2 Launched Bungie has been making ways to Limit Our way of Play Through [b]NOT allowing us [/b]with a more diverse way of [u]Subclass Customization[/u], [u]Strike Options(playlist Limited)[/u], [u]Story Selection(3 a Week)[/u], [u]Perk Variety[/u], [u]Torrent Modifier[/u], [u]Crucible Game Mode Selection[/u],[u]MorePerk Slots[/u], [u]More Subclasses(D1 Classes)[/u] [u]Permanent Shaders[/u], [u]More B. Engrams(Exp Throttle)[/u] [i]With that Said The Faction Rally Limitation Could be likened to the Exp Throttle. This made the grind for Bright Engrams longer. The worst part was they did this behind our backs. [/i] The only Difference here is they are telling us straight forward. "We are Throttling the Rate at witch you Aquire Faction gear." [u][b]AKA One Faction Per Account.[/b][/u] [b]Now How is doing this Making Customization More Diverse?[/b] [i]If Factions are Account Tied then why are MILESTONES Per CHARACTER? Why Are the Story Missions Per CHARACTER? Why Are Gear INFUSIONS Per CHARACTER?[/i] Think about that for second. The Only Reason is to make the Grind Longer. If milestones where Account Wide we would level up all three characters with one sweep. we could Transfer Hunter Gear to Titan Gear and Raise his Level ASAP. And if we had done the entire story mission with one Character and move on to another the moment we finish making them unique endgame would already be accomplished and awards waiting to be collected. Everything I just stated would Be In favor of the Players(maybe the story one a bit to much) but the point gets across. Factions being One Per Account is A DIRECT WAY OF Making the Grind LONGER on Purpose. witch is why Milestones, Missions, and Gear Infusion are Per Character to make the Grind Longer. [b]but For All of them it MAKES SENSE[/b] to be that way [b]EXCEPT FACTIONS PER ACCOUNT.[/b] My Titan is not My Hunter. what my Hunter Likes to Do is Not what My Titan Does. The same goes For my Warlock and Vic Versa. As A community we Really Need to Let them know this is A [u][b]WRONG MOVE[/b][/u]. Bungie Literally Made the [u]Catalysts this Difficult to GET and "Obtain Completion" Specifically to Encourage you to Play More.[/u] [b]The FACTION LIMITATION DOES NOT[/b] Encourage to Play with Different Characters. [i]Factions should work just like the Catalysts[/i]. [u]If you Put in the Time The Rewards Are Rightfully Yours for the Taking.[/u] [b]Make Faction Rally Special Every time with a new incentive(better weapons that are viable in PvP). Lock them behind Reputation and Increase it every New FR depending on your Current Rep. And Revert The Per Account. Done! FR Are Relevant Regardless What your Rep Level is.
