Same Problem but mine has nothing to do with the public event. I will get stuttering about two minutes into the play time in the area regardless of what is going on. Trying to finish the adventure in that location was nearly impossible to do. I have seen stuttering in other places as well but have mostly gone away since last driver update from Nvidia.
