I did the Leviathan for the first time a couple weeks ago. I luckily had a guy give me a brief lesson for each encounter before starting it up. It wasn't hard at all to pick up, so it does kind of suck that more aren't willing to help out. This is the same community to posts you must be 370 light to run a normal nightfall though.
