Nova Bomb needs a PvE damage buff
Nova Bomb is super cool with devour and the other tree but in high end PvE, what use is there to the ACTUAL SUPER outside of Devour? It’s not really great at adds, boss damage sucks compared to other supers.
Outside of devour with grenades, it’s on the low end of PvE and no use using it over other supers
P.S.: any way to make slowva prioritise bosses? Shooting it at Argos and it sidetracking to get a solo add is physically painful

The damage it does is fine. But the slow speed at which Cataclysm travels is ridiculous.

The Nova one hits almost anything, except the biggest enemies. It doesnt Need a buff for the initial explosion, but it does Need a bigger AOE and more damaging DOT

Agreed, TC shouldn’t be needed to make a super viable. The only reason people want nova in EP is because TC is used so heavily that NB’s are more viable than other supers. But in the end, nova needs a a buff

1 ReplyActually it doesn’t. If you haven’t ever heard of “escalation protocol” or “tractor cannon” then you might want to look them up because it’s the most op pve super (maybe tied with blade dancer) right now.

7 RepliesAnyone who upvotes the OP clearly hasn't played enough wave 6-7 escalation protocol. It MELTS bosses with TC debuff. Half the time I'm in an EP or see an LFG for one, ppl are asking for more Warlocks for this very reason.

Maybe it's just me but I think all the Warlock supers are lack luster and could use a buff. Nova's bad without tractor cannon, Stormtrance is only good against red bars. And I've had no success with Dawnblade. I would much rather use a titan or hunter when it comes to supers, but even there I would say hunter is unparalleled with its exotics. I would definitely like to see exotics for the warlock and titan similar to Raiden flux and Nighthawk

The only non roaming super NEEDS to feel more super, with a wider spread. The Void grenades also need a big buff; they're weak as 💩, nothing compared to the Arc or Solar.

I was nothing but nova bomb in destiny. But it feels so crap in destiny 2. You shouldn't need to pair it with tractor cannon to be viable. I reckon they should let u be able to throw 2 or 3 in a giving time. In destiny I used scatter so it spread out and u got more enemies but it's just kinda shit just now.

look im a hunter and im willing to call a need on this buff, u shouldnt have to pair gear with a super just for the super to be a decent super, the gear may be able to enhance it, but if its not already good without the certain gear then yes, buff that! its like saying after using golden gun immediatly switch to a certain hand cannon........what if i dont wanna use that but still want a good super use?

With the void singe and tractor cannon, it can be close to 100k. We 1 staged this weeks nightfall. Go void bomb.

I think devour is what makes that tree and its a melee based play style so I don't feel it needs to change to much. However it would play better and have more utility if shatter from D1 was intrinsic on it.
