Dead Orbit already won Faction Rallies before it even started
We can all agree that the next faction rallie will be a waste of time for those who will pledge to a faction that isn't Dead orbit, since they have a graviton lance catalyst (one of the two broken weapons on pvp). And thanks to Bungie, the pvp is worse than Trials from Destiny 1, since EVERYONE uses either Graviton Lance or Vigilance Wing. There is no fun on PVP; you either use one of these two weapons or don't even bother on going to a PVP match .
So yeah, Dead Orbit won the next faction rallie already.... again.
Maybe one day Bungie will do something right.

I mean, all the armor ornaments from DO and FWC look exactly the same and NM actually has decent looking ornaments. Like come on.. can these ornaments actually make the armor look different and not just be what is essentially a shader swap. You wanna call DO the "edge Lord's" ? Gimme ornaments that adds gothic chains, strapa, shrouds and smoke effects... Gimme FWC gear that draws more from their futuristic techno sci-fi theme.. Make the ornaments actually look like someone did more than just spray paint little sections here and there :/

3 RepliesI spread my characters across the factions and will rotate them around each rally. This way, no matter the "winning" faction, I have access to the prize weapon. Truth be told, nothing about the armor or hell even most of the weapons were special enough to warrant me fretting over to get. I was more in it for the shaders than anything. I miss the old faction reputation system.. I still remember the feeling when I got the last faction ship (Comitatus) to complete my faction collections.

2 RepliesUh the catalyst will only help the lance in long range engagements not ground breaking for the lance but sunshot catalyst is groundbreaking sunshot is well known and it’s all around reliable to boot the masterwork is gonna help add in the vision which has kill clip and you basically have FWC set to win the next rally

Generally speaking, I embrace the "broken" weapons concept and hope that Bungie adds more of them, rather than nerfing things down.

And that’s why the change to factions is still pointless. The winner is almost always predetermined by the loot. Rallies need some serious changing to actually mean anything.

I'm not sure if the reward for winning faction rally is the catalyst or reaching a certain level... But if it is winning the rally, it should be an unspoken rule that the community all picks one faction to guarantee as many people get it as possible. Then a different faction next rally. But then again, [i]this community[/i]

Wanna have some fun at crucible? Get berengers memory or the vanguard one, and go out there set some traps, i'm having some hard laughs with this archetype, your creativity is the limit. A guys was using acrius, he saw i was using a Grenade launcher, ' but he didnt saw i had set it a sticky at the ceiling, hes was using stompees, jumped backwards like a frog to get blasted by the sticky grenade'' LMAO He mail me saying i would get famous on youtube because i was a hacker that kill him without fire the gun. Haha

Now, if we had all unique faction armor perks that provide different bonuses per faction; You know, Recovery for New Monarchy, Agility for Dead Orbit, Resilience for FWC.

I've also been outgunned quite a few time while I was using my Lance by skilled players who have mastered the Antiope, Crimson, or The Jade Rabbit. PVP is fine right now. All I see right now is a whining player throwing a fit because he's not skilled. And on top of that, you just seem like the type of player who rages and lets his opponents get in his head, which will result in you playing even [b]worse[/b].

There are plenty of weapons that can counter GL. The only kewl thing about GL is sometimes you get that double kill from the person ducking behind cover. They are basically splitting the factions so they can all win.

3 RepliesWhy does it matter? The winning weapons are crap and the catalyst drops when you reach lvl 50. The Faction doesn’t need to win to get the catalyst or ornaments.

If you don't play PVP, pledge to FWC. The Sunshot catalyst will be great.

Hate both of those weapons, i dont use them, but about 4/5 matches i get the 1st place of my team, there are also many others guns options. But i still dont want to see dead orbit win only because of the catalyst.

Hell I even pulled off a two burst kill with relentless on a hunter yesterday and was probably more surprised than the dead nub using op subclasses
