The Future improvements to Escalation Protocol & Raid design

With the feedback and firsthand experience with Escalation Protocol I have thought of some ways that might improve upon and expand these endgame parts of D2. My suggestion here is to keep the difficulty but improve upon this in the future. Here are some Ideas. For these Ideas my example of adding Escalation Protocol to another planet where the example I'll use is Titan. Where the event can progress downwards into the Arcology not unlike a horde-wave dungeon crawl. 1.) Leave the difficulty but add 6 man patrol access. Have the door to the Arcology architecture and design of the Arcology and lead into the depths where the terrain become more hive corrupted. Endless waves of enemies that persist even as you grab a boss chest after defeating the boss. where you have to fight while getting your look. Make it feel like your strolling right into a hornet's nest the whole time. The deeper you go into the nest reward orb generation more by slowly removing the diminishing return of light each orb grant that you usually do. Have the Last room or to be pitchblack just like the old Alak-Hul strike boss fight. Even include a hidden final boss fight that can be found by using an alternate exit that leads to a fight against that serpent/worm shown in the sea that grants an exclusive armor AND weapon drop and maybe even its own shader. 2.) Move future raids back to the Old D1 method of making them a final part of the story with guided games helping to introduce an easy version that will draw more of your player base into the raids. then put the weapon rewards behind the normal difficulty and then a prestige armorset and even better (adept) weapons to the hard Prestige mode of the raid. Make the raid lair concept Now the E.P. horde Lair design that adds more paths to branch out into in these horde mode Lairs. This again would work amazing in The Arcology or the future Dreadnought, or the possible return of Prison of Elders as a Horde Lair. With the Arcology you could simply add new paths with certain reward sets that add another 5 or so encounters that can be accessed upon each DLC expansion that add a new boss rather then making a new raid lair you could literally just add rooms to the Horde mode dungeon and expand a game mode more people will play rather then just a raid lair. You could even add fallen to the Arcology as they manage to get in to the Arcology and you have to prevent them from looting the place. This gives us the chance to see the Amazing interior of the Arcology and you would be expanding to the smallest patrol zone planet in the game. 3.) Flashpoint... By adding a small horde mode to each planet this could expand upon the Milestone we have as flashpoint by enabling a different horde event on each planet that could expand into LOST SECTORS breathing new life into what has become a couple caves Filled with dead ends and empty nooks and crannies. Rasputin could issue new Entropy exercises to each planet where WE move against the enemy turning anywhere into a full on warzone. Now that Rasputin has been unleashed he could issue a Weekly E.P. on the designated flashpoint planet... especially if the rumors of your plans about Cayde-6 are true. [ R.I.P. Cayde :( ]
