Skyburner's Oath, what is its purpose?
I am greatly disappointed on the Skyburner's Oath Scout Rifle. I am not sure what is its purpose is. I have used it in Crucible just to be disintegrated by either Vigilance Wing or the Graviton Lance, shoot even by other legendaries that are not on the meta were outright beating it. It almost felt like I was using the Fighting Lion. Throughout a couple of games in the crucible, it felt frustrating or downright infuriating that no matter the distance, or if I am looking DTS or even using the hip fire, the Skyburner's Oath was just getting outclassed. For PvE, I really didn't or could not find its purpose. There were other better exotics to use than the Skyburners Oath. It felt like it was a waste of a weapon sloth.
I am not sure who or whom actually tested this weapon, sure it is flashy, but that is currently all its going for.

Go into the raid with it, it let's you solo the castellum, and slaughter the adds anywhere

1 ReplyIt’s nice for zoning in crucible. I’ve had a lot of fun hip firing over cover and getting kills on objectives

I use it in Insight Terminus where a lot of cabal cluster close together. And maybe Arms Dealer.

1 ReplyI use it with Solar warlock and spam homing rounds while in the air. It’s pretty effective in PVE. PVP it is mostly good for finishing off weak dudes around corners.
