Strongest hand cannon?
I use mainly my Gunslinger class. I usually rock the Lucky Pants with either the Better Devils/Sunshot or Crimson/Nature of the Beast. My question here is, is there a general consensus on the strongest hand cannon, as far as damage output? I’m just wondering if a particular combo of HC would work better with the Lucky Pants.

D.F.A. has the best stats/perks for the kinetic slot. It beats Better Devils and Midnight Coupe. This aside it just depends on your play style. Some people like a slower hard hitting gun whereas other a fast light hitting gun.

I run Better Devils/Crimson in PvP, and prefer Midnight Coup in PvE because of rampage and outlaw.

I like be the IKELOS hand cannon -
Better Devils is generally considered the best HC for the Kinetic slot, with The Old Fashioned and Midnight Coup (Prestige Leviathan) being solid choices as well thanks to their damage-boosting perks. Crimson has solid self-sustain in PvE, and is decent in the Crucible if you keep in mind that it's better close-mid range. I'm partial to the IKELOS Hand Cannon myself. Something just feels... right about it.

Better Devils is a hard-hitting pleaser. Not great on ammo for PvE, but if you can get past that it’s golden.

PVE: Kinetic: Old Fashioned with drop mag or Midnight coup. Energy: NotB Use your exotic slot on power weapons.

For PvP it’s hard to pass on better devils. For PvE Bad news is a one shot beast. It was awful when the game launched, but after the HC buff it’s great. Unfortunately that doesn’t translate to PvP. Fires too slowly and takes a massive hit on damage.
