Psionic Potential (Heroic) Adventure - Help Please
I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions or wouldn't mind helping do this run. I'm trying to obtain the legendary Polaris Lance. Tried it solo and got to the end but just couldn't do it. I use my Titan at 345 and realize he may be still weak. I just don't have the time I'd like to work on leveling up first. Thanks!

Tractor cannon and charge them as they spawn. Or if you miss them and they evolve, tractor cannon and launch them off the map.

1 ReplyI’d say that Sentinel top tree would be the way to go, but I’ve only done this on my Nightstalker so far. Ward of Dawn with Helm of Saint-14 and protective Strike would work pretty well. Telesto works great. Shoot it underneath the objective and the Psion will explode as soon as it runs up to it.

I wouldn't even bother this week. Attrition is horrendous.

Try using a sword. It really helped me out.

At the final stage it's much easier to kill the psions before they evolve... if you're at the top of the stairs you will see the ship come in and the psion will drop down (so start it off and retreat)... that's your cue to run in and try to one hit kill it (sword or shotgun works a trick, and psions drop heavy ammo); you should see it drop down either left side or right side, before it attempts to touch the mode. Once killed run like mad back to the lower level and position yourself back on the stairs waiting for your next cue! Each time I did this I went in through the middle and then out on the sides (nearest to where psion wss). If you run striker with double nades, throw some in at 50% and super the mobs as it's a little hectic at this stage; make sure to get back to your starting position though! Nb: during one attempt I had a bit of super left so I tried to pre-empt the next psion with some residual arc damage... I promptly got squashed by the cabal arrival; don't try this :) 6 psions and the mission is done!

I used my weapons to pick off the generic enemies then a super to nuke the psions. The enemies won’t follow you down the stairs so just go there and run around a bit to regen your health when you need to

2 RepliesHey, I just did it with my Titan at 355 and had some issues - until I switched to Sentinel top tree. Defensive strike not only instakills the Psions (and Legionaries), it also has an extremely short cooldown (like 1 sec, compared to approx. 3 seconds with hammer bottom tree) AND it gives you an overshield to help you survive on top of that. Just go in there, run circles around the edge like stnbooth suggested and pop Psions as they spawn, ignore all other adds (except Legionaries if you wanna recharge your overshield) and boom, done in 2 minutes of running around.

2 RepliesI had more luck doing the opposite of the advice you're getting. Kill 6 before they become flayers and it's much easier. I ran circles around the outer edge and took out the psions as I saw them. They're pretty weak as long as they don't become flayers. Took it much quicker than the other advice you're getting it seems.

Save your rockets for the end and let your super build up before entering the last room. Psions come in on the ships so play back until you see a ship(the psions ride in on ships only, from what I saw). Pop your super on the first wave of adds as the ship comes in. Make sure to hop from sunspot to sun spot. Hammer down all the adds (focusing on the psion before you goes flayer. After he goes down back up and scout rifle down adds until you see another ship. Run in and rocket it’s ass(always focus on them with a rocket). You can wait til they get a little closer to the node but you have to be a little quicker if you wait til then. Use grenades for sunspots to speed up more grenades. Use sunspots to help damage adds. I used the new solar exotic arms so fusions insta explode. Rinse and repeat until you get your super back. If you miss a psion and it goes flayer go back down the stairs until you take out adds. Let your super build up, you might have to super it twice. Slow and steady wins the race. If you rush in to much expect to get waxed. It took me a about 4-5 wipes to figure out the timing.

1 ReplyNever forget that you can fall back to the lower area to take the pressure off. There's also no timer, so take as much time as you need to get an opening.
