I looked on YouTube to see if anyone had 3-manned it. There were a couple of videos claiming it but there were still randoms lurking around.
Its not impossible, well not for teams involving Esoterickk or SC_Slayerage etc, but for the vast majority it does seem unnecessarily tough. Although only just a little.

Edited by Trestero: 5/26/2018 9:20:58 AMAs of the last day or two, a team has succeeded at 3-manning it (Gigz and co. from Redeem, who also got the SoS world's first), by having people they knew fill up the instance and not help to make sure it was a 3-man. Three people, 384-385 light. It took them 8 hours to complete. To beat level 6 they had to keep going until they got a public event wave, because level 6 is an insane spike otherwise. With 3 people with DARCI's sitting on top of a pillar in the Drift where they could snipe the boss the whole time shooting continuously with spare heavy bricks, they killed the boss with less than 20 seconds less (a slight hiccup where the boss took f*cking cover probably lost them about 15-20 seconds, but that's still really uncomfortably tight for their level and the amount of DPS they had). So it was barely doable, by the skin of their teeth, after spending an equal amount of time to the raid lair when it came out, with 3 exceptionally skilled people about max level using what may be the strongest sustained DPS gun in the game. On a final boss with a very simple mechanic they were able to essentially ignore. I'm about 90% sure that on any other week, when the boss has a legitimate mechanic, that either wouldn't be possible or would take too long for anyone to try it.

Yeah I watched that, didn't realise the blueberries were stooges. But like you said its still too much really for the majority.
