This is something that I've been wondering about for a while, how physically strong are guardians? Given we can punch cabal to death and cause fallen skulls to actually explode is seems high, not to mention the ability to hold the thunderlord and other MG like they weigh nothing
-
How strong is the Titan?? Well my Titan once jumped and punched the injection rig exhaust vent and destroyed it. That's how strong.
-
9 RepliesObviously they’re pretty strong. I mean like think at the smallest, snipers. They’re heavy. They hold them like they’re nothing. Then you have basically punching everything, aka titans law lol and also for hunters being able to stab cabal armor. I assume its strong armor, so they must have a lot of physical strength to be able to puncture it.
-
There was a titan who worked on her strength to the point where she could punch a mountain and it would move... so pretty freaking strong.
-
Really -blam!-ing strong, our punches are significantly more damaging than a round from a hand cannon.
-
We're capable of flipping Cabal interceptors and shattering bone, metal, and flesh with hard blows. Probably capable of lifting a good half-ton or so, baseline. Superhuman, but on the low end of it, aside from, like, certain titans.

Well I once on Mars Hammer slammed as a sunbreaker a centurion in one hit right to the head

3 RepliesTitans can punch out the likes of Cabal Centurions and Hive Knights. Zavala was able to physically go toe-to-toe with a Legionary without any light. Lady Efrideet once threw Saladin like a javelin. All Guardians can both carry and effectively wield things like rocket launchers and machine guns like it's nothing, without any noticeable loss to their mobility. I couldn't begin to provide hard data, but it's pretty clear that Guardians are roided to hell and back.

7 RepliesHunters can headbutt a ketch to split it in half. They can also carry 14 drakes on their right hand and 20 walkers on their left and run a 3k marathon at the same time. I run training courses to help warlocks and titans heavylift just like us, but don't worry, lifting feathers is hard ;)
This was not intended to offend any titans or warlocks. Viewer discretion is advised if you may be very serious about this stuff
I'm as strong as a ant, if an ant was 100 feet tall.

In the Sunbreaker quest one of the dialogues you get is a story about how Lady Effrideet threw Lord Saladin over 20 miles with pin-point precision. So that kinda gives you a sense of how strong they are. Zavala without his light was able to match a cabal legionnairy in strength and was able to kick him hard enough to take his gun away. Considering the fact that the cabal weigh 300 pounds and need booster packs to get off the ground, that's an impressive feat. Also, i heard somewhere that Titan fieldplate multiplies their strength.

4 RepliesWell, I’m pretty sure the Light is a huge factor in how strong a Guardian is. Let’s use titans as an example. A Titans melee is capable of denting Metal, Alien or human. For example, a Shank. Shanks must be made from a metal close to Titanium. A few bullets is enough to dent metal, and a Titans melee can break a shank in one hit. One bullet, even in the future, depending on the weapon, carries over 2000 joules of kinetic energy. And one of these doesn’t break a shank. I estimate that a Titans melee carries about 3000 to 4000 joules of energy. That is a lot. It’s incredibly more than a average human. That means the light is capable of not only enhancing guardians speed and stamina, but it also incredibly enhances their physical capabilities. And Titans do this all the live long day. Damn. Makes me feel good to be a Titan
-
Ehh, if I had to put it short: Hunters and warlocks: Slightly above peak human Titans: Low-tier superhuman stronger than Captain America
-
15 RepliesOne. It's a game. Two, I'm sure Light plays some sort of role for strength during combat. Three, they still have to workout(read the lore tab to the tractor cannon). If it was at all realistic, Titans would never be out punched, Hunters would always dodge bullets, and Warlocks would be even more squishy than they already are. Oh, and only Titans would have any mobility with rockets, and MG's, and overall have the best stability.

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
We can carry 27 different weapons and 27 different armor pieces into battle. Along with ammo and consumables And we can one punch 800 ib cabal, and Saint-14 headbutt a Fallen Kell to death So I would say the travelers light removes our physical limitations, making us all has strong has we need to be to achieve victory -

So we don't get tired, don't need to eat etc. An important example of this is that a normal human has to worry about overexertion because it will lead to injury and a degradation of ability until healed. Assuming it will heal, whereas guardians don't have this issue at all. Simply put guardians are the absolute max a human is capable of. Then there's the light on top of that. Kinda reminds me of Shaxx saying "lets see what you can do with no limits".

Titans have the strength of superman.
-
Titans wear power-armor which canonically grants them a strength bonus over the other classes, but all Guardians infuse Light into their bodies in order to increase their natural capabilities, like strength. The answer then is it depends on the Guardian in question. The brighter the Light, the bigger the beef.

Probably stronger than spartan 3s but not stronger than spartan 2s
-
Strong enough to push the Sun.

My Hunter can leg press a German SUV and do Kettle Lifts with his Dick. My Titan can Bench Press and deadlift a School Bus full of Fat Camp Kids. My Warlock can read 150 words a minute and does 4 hours Cross Fit. Yet give us the Glass modifier with Fatal Melee, and that all turns to Shit.

Some weapons make holes in fabric of reality and only kick a bit (graviton lance) or shot mini stars (nova mortis or what every the fire one is called)
