Why is it that an arc strider super vs. Sentinel Shield super the hunter cancels out the Titan when hitting each other at the same time. I’ve been killed 3 times in a row while using my super at the same time and I even hit the hunter 2 times before they hit me and it’s like mine didn’t count?

It seems op to many people because they get one hit in their super. They are forgetting that arcstriders only have a staff, so it’s a VERY close range super. Every other super in the game as some type of range / ranged attack. Arcstrider only has its speed and a bunch of useless combos.
Ok those combos are ok for pve but nobody should run arcstrider in pve
As a titan I run sentinel in pvp often I've not had this issue as I seem to use my shield when I see others using supers or to be brunt of fire while team mates do there job etc . The arc strider thing I've used the block shield with them and it's served me fine same as nova bomb I use block and it serves me well ... But that's just my experience.... Be interesting to know if this is an ongoing issue for titans

Yet a fist of havoc activation or hammer can one shot while it takes 2-3 hits to kill those supers.

Shield does less damage because it has more utility than staff

It’s not really hit registration because I’ve hit many hunters when we were both in super and it only takes 1 hit for them to kill me where as I need up to 3 hits with sentinel shield to kill them.

2 RepliesIf you want to learn how to beat Arc Staff, patiently wait until they strike. While being patient, keep your block up. When the Staff hits the block, they stagger allowing for free hits. Hopefully this helps.

Seems like all hit registration has been off recently, maybe another but with last update

1 ReplyEdited by ButtChug: 5/22/2018 1:27:15 AMHey man, its a pretty common issue that the sentinel shield melees doesn't register for jack shit. All us titans can really do is hope they improve the hit registration (or whatever it may be) for it.

6 RepliesThat’s a thing that happens when melee supers collide. It also happens if you swing at someone with your melee super who are using a sword.

5 RepliesYou know you can throw your shield right?
