Why grind Valor? Incentive...?
So the competitive playlist has the Redrix Claymore and it is great but out of reach of many... If you don't have the skills, time or team.
But for those willing to use their available time to grind valor, there is no great reward. The armour is a mirror version of the normal crucible armour and the marine pulse rifle is good but nothing special and a reskin on top of that!
Can we get real incentives? What happened to all the cool armour ideas from D1....
The scarab armour, the holograms etc?

2 RepliesOn reaching rank 4 I got 2 powerful items, a weapon and an armour, both 5 above my max. When you prestige at rank 5, you get another 2 - 4. That makes it worthwhile imo. The main point is though, you play for fun. If you're not enjoying it, don't do it.

4 RepliesThat's the problem with being a loot-motivated player. You eventually run out of "reasons to play." No matter how deep the lootpool, or how desirable the loot is.
