Has anybody done the psionic potential heroic solo ??

You can kill the psions before they access the node and go super psion

Switch to a shotgun like perfect paradox at the end. Maybe Darci for everything else? I used Sturm and Drang and it wasn't that bad for me. Not too hard, but hard enough to put some effort in.

Anyways Its only hard because you need to run around every time you take damage so you are only able to be shooting for like a tenth of how long you normally could. Use chrimson if you have it. I didn't use it at the time for whatever reason, it might not have been powerful enough. I would also recommend that you make sure you swap your energy weapon to the scion's shield. Otherwise you might literally not even do enough damage to break the shield before you need to run away for health. So try and use hardlight if its high enough power, otherwise run to cover far away from the enemies to swap to an energy weapon that matches the scions shield. For heavy I used Darci but that was pretty hard to aim because of how close the encounter is. So I would recommend using Sleeper Similant if you have it because it has very low zoom and great damage. Otherwise a fusion rifle or rocket launcher should be fine.

Knowing that you only have to kill 2 psions helped me and I couldn't stop them from getting to the power node - ads would kill me if I stayed exposed whilst trying to stop them. I used Titan with two arc pulse grenades. Once ads spawn chuck the grenades in amongst them then run down the stairs. Sneak back up and pick off ads from behind cover. Run downstairs to regenerate health when needed. As grenades recharge keep chucking them in. Use your super but don't get caught up there in the open when your super finishes. Once ads are gone or just one left chuck two grenades on the psion and shoot him in the head with void weapon. Just be patient and keep in cover.

Dont know if the modifiers change but i had the momentum modifier so had to keep moving to recover health. Basically run around with a fusion rifle and headed straight for the psions as soon as they spawn. If they get to the Rasputin music box they get a shield and are a real ball ache. Once you kill 5 the other adds disappear and missions is complete.

Do not let the Orange health psions get to the sleeper node at all costs. The become Psion Flayers and they are health tanks that can kill you pretty quickly.

I done it last night. Started it up. Realised I may take abit longer than the standard quest. So I came on here and posted and 2 people joined without mics and we smashed it within 10mins. Seriously mate get 2 randoms in and you will be fine.

You run out, shoot shit, then sprint immediately back behind the stairs, if you run out of ammo, waste everything and wait a min to get it all back, then rinse and repeat

All the time. The first couple of times it’s difficult. But it really comes down to the damage boosting mod. Pack a punch with the tractor cannon. Always helps with all the ads.

9 RepliesDon't allow the flayer aspirants in to the node area in the boss section..doing this makes the adventure very very easy..the Psion's won't become flayers if u keep them away from the sleeper mode in the centre of the room..you can complete it very fast

I did it solo, and it was AGONIZING. I've done all my Heroric adventures solo because I feel even more of a badass when I clear them.

D.A.R.C.I in the corner with critical shots on those little buggers before they hit the buff zone. Downs them 1-2 shots and then move. I think it takes 2 or 3 to get to 50%. Then let one go super Psion and use a super to smash him. Those account for the remaining 50%. Theoretically from the corners you can do the whole mission and never take a hit. Fastest way I've found with very little danger.

1 ReplyYup. It wasn’t that bad. Just don’t sit still! If attrition is on your health will regenerate. It just takes longer. Pay attention to the buffed modifier! Use it. Use your classes strengths! I ran around 20 Heroics before I finally got the Huckleberry catalyst to drop... Now I’m grinding hard for the NF rocket launcher. I think I’m on my 17th so far.

Yeah. I did it with my Solar Titan at 352. Used the new Niflem Frost scout for kinetic, the Skyburner's Oath (it shreds Cabal) and my Void Morrigan-D Rocket Launcher. Just stay back and clear everything from a distance and it takes a while but it can be done. Particularly at the last part. Just keep going up and down the stairs taking as many shots as you can before going back down to recharge your health.

1 Replydude just sprint around the enemies, and shoot a rocket at the psion every once in a while, you are literally invincible while sprinting, just don't let the psion turn into a flayer

Just run and don't stop. Kill psions as soon as they drop in. Cake work.

Edited by Sky: 5/20/2018 10:46:50 PMI did. It was not hard.. I died only once during the final encounter and then just played a bit smarter. I was on my arcstrider hunter with a rocket launcher. Its ok to let the psion turn into a flayer, it doesnt end the encounter, and kind of makes it a little easier because then you arent worry about the node. Rocket the psions and adds, and if one turns into a flayer I just used my super, since they were arc, they went down easy. The modifier I had was inertia.. was a little annoying, just had to watch my health and know when to dip out of a fight to get my health back.
