How come we have our powers on Titan, the Dreadnaught, and the Reef, the so-called "last place the Light touches?"
-
Firstly, Io is the first place in the system where the traveller touched. Secondly, the light isn't necessary limited in terms of location.

When the Traveler “touches” places, it’s assumed that the Traveler terraforms them or makes them hospitable for us. Also, we don’t know how far out Nessus is in the system so we can’t really act like the Reef and the Dreadnaught are farther out.

1 ReplyIo is the last place that the Traveler visited before returning to Earth in the Collapse. The Reef was the furthest out that the energy of the Traveler could reach while it was dormant above the City, meaning that once we went past there the Darkness was stronger so our energy would drain more “Last place the Traveler touched”= the Traveler was there “Last place the Light touches”= sphere of influence of the Light

1 Reply<Places where the Traveler initiates the terraforming process doesn't equal "the Light only goes up to here". As shown in the end credits cutscene, the Light goes everywhere. It's always been everywhere. The differences come in places where it's weaker and the Darkness is stronger. Also the Reef really isn't that far out. It's in between Mars and Jupiter.>

It was the last place it touched but not as far as it could reach. Honestly we seem to carry light within us as guardians so I don’t think we need to be “in range” of the traveler.

Io is the last place in the system that The Traveller 'teraformed" (Made Earth-like) before the collapse. It is not the furthest place that the our Light...or the Traveller's Light can reach.
