Also, bring back D1 Trials of Osiris. We all know the only reason you disabled it was to force the competitive people playing D1 to transition to D2.

Edited by KairanShadow: 5/23/2018 2:32:50 AMhmmmm insta kill meta (shotgun or sword pick one there is no difference) with long ass respawn times and almost no time (if it's not dm) or same respawn time with MORE time, with the exotic meta where you can recall any of the hundreds of exotics you scrapped because D2 throws them up in your face along with shards to buy more exotics from xur once a week where a purple is still pretty dominant over exotics BUT only the winning team can have power weapons because some -blam!- thinks it's okay to increase there drop rate, have people who had power ammo drop it and basically be a giant middle finger to any balance whatsoever, doesn't matter what you do to any of the guns if your controlling the map you win no contest because you are currently throwing instant kills at them with them no way of fighting back because the servers are so -blam!-ing -blam!-ed because some cheap -blam!- went for the servers made for cheap -blam!-ing mobile phone games if power weapons weren't so -blam!-ing everywhere for one side and the servers weren't replaced from potatoes to a dying maggot I'd pick D2 however at least with D1 I get a -blam!-ing chance.

D1= punishing you for hiding like coward from your opponent D2= rewarding you for hiding behind your teammates and showing the world your huge lack of skill

Playing D2 Crucible is as boring as watching paint dry.
-
2 RepliesDestiny 1 without the 1 hit kill sticky grenades, I hated them.
-
1 ReplyNot just Crucible, everything was better in D1.

As of this post, 13% of the forum player base has brain damage.

D1 has faster ttk then d2. My hc that did 80+ on d1 and does in d2 60+ to the head, With the same fire rate.

1 ReplyEdited by Sky: 5/20/2018 10:39:13 PMI miss D1 crucible where you could have clutches, and those epic 1 v 2 or 3. Where people were not afraid to venture off and get kills on there own without holding their team-mates dicks. I miss the game-modes, and the primary and secondary loadouts. The two primaries were fun for a little bit, but its gotten so dull and feels very limiting to me. Iv gone back to a loadout as close to a d1 loadout as I can get, pulse and sidearm. And no, I do not use v-wing or lance.. sadly only time I use either of them is when I come across corner campers who spam the lance or vigil and are afraid to actually play the game and engage you. But yes.. miss d1 crucible. So much more variety. A little offtopic... its a little weird that 200+ people have voted for D1 crucible, but hardly anyone has upvoted this post to let bungie know we are sick of this shit in D2.

4 Repliesi wish that ice breaker, no land beyond, and sidearms didn’t exist. if they just were not a thing then d1 crucible would be in a near perfect spot right now but instead it is dominated by special ammo workarounds and it sucks.
-
2 RepliesHoly shite you kids are never happy
-
5 RepliesD2 is fine except for the heavy ammo spam.

I think I liked The Taken King era the most. The only reason why I refuse to say the HoW period is because Thorn still scars my Guardian.
-
Poll speaks for itself wow.

Now that the pendulum is swinging in favor of the skill gap somewhat even in this mind-blam!-ed environment, I'm going to say D2 by a nose in terms of gunplay and variant loadout viability....AND apparent better things lie ahead (ranfom rolls) anticipating future scheduled changes. Bottom line -- The bitching will never stop and mechanics-wise outcomes will remain oppressive under the current algorithm parameters + shadow equalizers . Do away with 50/50 win-loss pull and progression slowing and let the goddam chips fall where they may = I think you have a winner.

D1 Crucible, pre-2-14-17. You not only HAD special ammo, but you KEPT special ammo.
-
2 RepliesHoW era. Felwinter's sniper, thorn, and last word era. We were truly powerful in those days
-
Neither. Dedicated servers.

D1. I see what they tried to do with D2, but it was executed horribly.
-
D1 crucible was significantly better in every way. Shame.

6 RepliesI'm know I'm definitely in the minority with my opinion that Destiny 2 Crucible is more enjoyable. Destiny was incredibly fun but was always broken. Every weapon either was useless or used by everyone else. The supers were more action-oriented, which meant avoiding them was pretty much a useless act. Destiny 2 is a slower and more balanced. I don't dispute my deaths in this game half as much as I did in Destiny. Though, I'd say it's not as fun for just sitting down and playing (partially because I can't choose what game mode I want to play), it still is a more reliable experience than previous patches and updates from Destiny's era. I get the love for the past, but I feel like many wear rose-tinted glasses of Destiny's messy Crucible.

D2 crucible is lost without 6v6 and 3v3 in steady playlists for playing anytime.

3 RepliesCrucible killed Destiny!

2 RepliesI honestly hated the snipers mets though. It was fun. But I don't like how I had to use a special almost all the time

yeah so everyone can cry about shotguns and sniper also only use god roll eysulunas smh kids these days
Also, bring back D1 Trials of Osiris. We all know the only reason you disabled it was to force the competitive people playing D1 to transition to D2.
A mixed opinion... D1 with 6 players was sometimes too crowded, and caused chaos (i guess that was an ok thing) but why did bungie decrease the fireteams, yet increase the size of the maps? It would have been fine to keep 6v6 with the size the maps are in D2... now it seems like a nuisance to crucible when there is more "literal" running around needed to engage. Bring 6v6 back, and then it can be measured
