The Vigilance Wing is the most broken gun in the Crucible
The Vigilance wing is the most broken gun in the Crucible right now and the catalyst just makes it worse. No other gun meets its TTK. Bungie you better fix this gun before September.

4 RepliesWrong, every Omolom sidearm within effective range by default has a faster time to kill at .8 seconds, compared to VW's .83. Sweet Business comes very close to Vigilance Wing's time to kill (not sure if the spreadsheet I'm using is while ramped up or from not shooting), VW also has one of the slowest bodyshot time to kills in the game at 1.13 seconds. Suros sidearms by default also kill on .8 seconds with headshots (albeit they're kind of shit at precision, but the time to kill is still faster), there's also the fact that almost every damage bonus in the game that decreases shots to kill causes the respective weapon to kill faster than Vigilance Wing. Vigilance Wing is also one of the slowest shooting guns in the game, considering the long burst and long burst delay, misses are far more punished by any other weapon. Looking at flat time to kill while not considering any other factor is just stupid, you have summoned me.

5 RepliesNothing like being killed by the AoE from Graviton because the guy next to you was killed by it. Or to get repeatedly killed by acrius because it has stupid range for a shotgun, or by tractor because they don't actually have to have their crosshair on you to hit you. Complaining about one exotic weapon over the others just because it's only exotic perk is killing faster is lame.

5 RepliesThey literally just buffed most exotics and Vigilance Wing has plenty of competition. I'd say more people are using the Lance. Crimson is also a beast.

There is nothing to fix. The gun is fin where it is. Unless you mean that it needs a buff.

I agree this gun along with Lance are heads above other weapons. People who say play with different ranges or get in their face, forget that people using these guns have a second gun that probably will be a close range melter. Yes you can kill people using these weapons but you have to work a lot harder than them, when it comes to positioning and engagements. There is a reason why people are abusing these weapons. They each have a large area of effectiveness. I would like to see Bungie use small tweaks to ROF or precision modifiers on other weapon types to close the gap between these weapons and the rest of the field.

Who decides what weapon EVERYBODY use is bungie. The people say to u stop bcause they use them. But is really broken, its boring EVERYBODY in crucible using the same thing ! Why so many weapons so #Bungie ?
