People asking me to leave from Mars public area for them to play augment protocol..... wtf!!!!!!!!!!
How selfish people are!!!! You can see the story here. I think Bungie should take part on this to avoid this kind of behavior.

Bad on you for being salty when they were trying to be polite, bad on them for asking you to leave in a social space. End result...Bungie should be to blame for this kind of execution. I have my messages disabled so they won't bother me no matter what, I get a message like that, I would have just stood there with the popcorn emote.

Right but... why don't you just leave the instance and come back? There is no reason you have to stay in the same instance as them. It makes more sense for you to allow a team of 10 in then to make all 10 of them relocate. Like imagine you and 10 friends order 2 pizza, you take a whole pizza and the others share the remaining one, they realize that theyre 2 slices short of everyone having a slice of pizza and ask you to share. Wouldnt, in that hypothetical, it make more sense to offer them the 2 slices then it is for them to order an entirely new pizza for 2 slices.

I love being a nuisance to those 8 man fireteams. No one ever wants to wait for me to wander out of the patrol area, they automatically message me telling me to leave. Lol I start protocol, sit in corner, do some collect patrols or kill all patrols, and repeat until they leave.

They had a squad and wanted to grind together, it sounds like you need to practice kindness as well. If I was asked to bounce nicely so a squad can play together, I would do so... like what’s the big deal??? Oh I know you wanted to reap the rewards... I was removed from a party the other night. I didn’t come here and bitch about it. I’ve been in a few squads with 9 and the players we asked or message were glad to help us cause they knew what we were attempting to do.

So, I was patrolling solo. A dude invites me to a party. He asks me to invite people to my fireteam. Then they discuss their plans for protocol. Im like, Ill join in but Im only like 350 light. Theyre like, dude youll have no damage on the boss. Im like, these guys have friends theyre trying to play with, not some blueberry. So, I hand the lead to one of their dudes and exit. Not really that big of a deal.

2 RepliesI have no idea why escalation was not set up exactly like archons forge. A gate in the patrol space that drops you into a new instance when you cross the threshold. If you cross as a group/fireteam you get dropped in as a group. Other solos who cross keep getting added to the group until your instance is full. They already had this s$&@ figured out!

It got so bad that gamers actually came on this forum crying about gamers blocking them from farming it so Bungie "fixed" it. Edit: This is part of the reason gamers have asked for bigger fire teams. Bungie creates an event but does not give the player base any options to where stupid things like this wouldn't happen. If this is a 9 person event WTH were they thinking leaving no options? Bungie? get your act together...
