During Halo 3, I signed into Bungie.net and had an account and data here.
I recently registered/ but checked with both my XBL account (same) and my Battle.net account... no record however the same avatar on bungie.net when I signed up was on my profile.
Is there Bungie website support that could possibly find my old bungie account?
It's really odd because I'm using the exact same XBL profile which has never lapsed on subscription.
Thanks.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 5/17/2018 5:15:29 PMThe account you had previously is still archived and available to view (if you can remember the Bungie.net profile name it had) but you won't be able to log into it. Based on your name, this may be it: http://halo.bungie.net/Stats/Halo3/Default.aspx?player=DirectorGunner If that's not it, feel free to search for what you think your profile name was. Bungie changed login requirements and required you to have either and XBL ID or PSN ID linked directly with your Bungie.net profile in order to log into it (battle.net ID login wasn't a thing back then for Bungie.net). They removed the ability to have direct logins or login with facebook and the like, and if you didn't link an XBL or PSN ID directly through logging in with it at the time before they removed the old logins, then your account is orphaned; you can no longer log into your old account. No, there's no way to recover it, and no, Bungie won't do so if you ask really nicely. There were several weeks (and months, if I remember right) in which you could link an account before the old login methods were removed, and if you didn't do so at that time, then you're out of luck, as the recovery cutoff period is long past. When you created your new Bungie.net account with your XBL ID, you created a new Bungie.net profile, and it is not associated in any way with your old Bungie.net profile, even though the old one has stats from the XBL ID you used to create the new one, because the XBL ID was not linked to the old one for login.

2 RepliesBungie.net accounts are deleted after a certain amount of time inactive on the site. Could that have been it?
