Bring back Blessing/Weapon of light
I miss these perks so much, It saddens me to say that I never ever see the ward of dawn used by other players because of how useless it is without these perks.
Bring them back Bungie, make my Titan happy again.

Bring back the option to choose the old subclass in their entirety.... Defender Bladedancer Sunsinger This will add more options the the game.

2 RepliesGetting rid of weapons was a good choice to prevent titans from HAVING to be defenders in order to deal enough dps. It prevents bosses from being designed around wol so that most any composition can deal enough damage with just their own weapons, not with any buffs (aside from tether of course). I would still like if they implemented both armor and blessing into being on the bubble at once. It would give it some more versatility. Perhaps the helm of saint-14 could grant this? Maybe infinite shotgun ammo while inside the bubble? Idk, a buff would be appreciated.

3 RepliesMaybe add Blessing to Armor of Light, that would be a nice buff. Weapons was probably the reason our bubble was defanged. But combined Blessing and Armor would be nicely empowering.

I still using ward of dawn more than barricade because I alway forget that barricade exist. I totally agree with you. WOD not useful like it was in D1. I hate captain america wanna be titan.

Wonder why people don’t use Ward of Dawn a lot? Look at the Sentinel subclass and tell me what’s in the center and what’s off to the side...

1 ReplyBUMP! Would like it to generate more orbs, since we're making a wish list. I mean, am I trying to be the support class here with my bubble or what? Let me support my teammates please! Also, wouldn't mind seeing The Glasshouse return as well so I can extend the bubble duration, or some other exotic with a similar perk.

I know this is a titan base post and not to hijack but hunters tether got nerfed too (it doesn't buff heavy dmg) It's like the guy that was in charge of super perks was a warlock main and just gave their rifts everything.

For sure WoD needs a big buff. Helm of Saint-14 should grant weapons & blessings for sure and stack with warlock's rifts because that would just be broken and awesome. Crest ought to extend WoD duration and make orbs when the ward of dawn takes damage. Doom Fang ought to give you an [i]extra [/i]throw charge whenever you shield bash an enemy, not merely recharge a throw. I'd like to see a bottom tree (aggressor) sentinel go bash bash bash against some nearby adds and then spam 5 shield throws at a boss for dps. That would be epic.

Helm of Saint 14 should have an additional perk that grants both, to be honest. It should stack with tractor cannon, tether, and Titan burn? (Don’t remember the name) Duration and strength of bubble should be increased. Boom. Cap-titan America is a viable option in both pve and pvp.

2 RepliesWeapons and blessing forced titans to play defender rather than a more fun subclass for raids and nightfalls. I’m happy to see them go, and black hole in a way because it meant hunters had to always be on nightstalker as well for most of the raids.

2 RepliesThere's not much need or use for the Defender bubble anymore (with W/A of Light) D1 Nightfalls/Raids & even PvP were great for inclusion of the Bubble (to get away from the burn/modifiers....building a specific Defender Titan through perk tree and armour was a great help But D2 has been nullified (same reason we don't need Heavy Ammo synths) .... The difficulty and enemy AI needs to vastly improve

What good does protecting my team mates with a bubble do, if they don't stand any better chance outside of it once they heal up, they'll just get bursted down again to the point where they HAVE to go back inside. I think that's unbelievably stupid. Blessings for bubble boys, maybe when using sentinel shield, allies near you get increased gun damage? Something to give a reason to use one or the other.

1 ReplyJust put this in another post but I believe there is a lot of opportunity for improving the bubble. It truly doesn't feel like a super since you essentially have to use Helm to get any practical use out of it at the moment. If nothing else I would really like to see the bubbles health/health regen increased. In Destiny 1 Ward of Dawn worked very well against roaming supers and was countered by Fist/Bomb/Gun. In Destiny 2 it sorta feels like it is dominated by every other super due to how easy it is to destroy They could also take the obvious route and provide Blessing/Weapons. I understand why they might not want to include Weapons of Light but I do not see harm in Blessing of Light especially since it goes with the theme of the defensive super. If for some reason that is too much to ask for I still feel there are many other alternatives such as allowing the bubble to generate Orbs of light once damaged or increasing the duration would nice and or maybe do a Song of Flame effect where team mates in or around the bubble regen abilities faster. I do miss Blessing the most by far.

2 RepliesHonestly the more I think about it, the more I feel Captain America should be one skill stick, and the old bubble a different skill stick, granting weapons/armor of light and the AoE melee heal strike as a pure support Titan while the other is a mix of offense and defense.

Im a hunter main and I just have to say... YES buff it. Theres really no reason to use it except if you want to get a zone in domination or just want to screw people over with their heavy ammo.
