DarksideRoyaltyLore sums it up nicely. The story writers are incompetent and pull stories out of their collective arses.

4 RepliesAll guardians are technically dead, sooooo....

1 ReplyOooo look who knows so much. Well actually she's only mostly dead. Which means partially alive.

4 RepliesEdited by iPatrikolby: 5/17/2018 11:11:01 PMJoker, back again, once again...huh? Why do you still make these videos? Could it be cause they're the only ones that get any views? Pointing out narrative inconsistencies in Destiny 2 seems a tad pedantic given how much Joker rants about the lack of compelling story. Story sucks. We get it. Take your own advice and tell a new story, bruh

1 ReplyI'm going to sweep aside all the lore stuff about Ana Brie for a second and simplify things. Every Guardian died before they became a Guardian, we were fished out of a burnt out car in the Cosmodrome. And all Guardians die (especially in raids, lol) thats the whole point right? Res and get on with it.

4 RepliesEdited by TheGr8Nekodamus: 5/17/2018 10:05:17 PMTL;DR? Edit: Biased review is biased. Let’s see.... For starters, only focusing on the campaign sets him up to only prove his point; ignoring other gameplay inclusions breeds a fallacious point of view. Ana, if truly dead, could have been saved through dimensional anomaly-play, and it wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened. *Ahem* Praedyth, anyone? So, that aside, it’s discovered, through gameplay, interactions, and lore tabs: Why the hive were there Why Xol was there How Rasputin wasn’t what we all thought (and hoped) he was. OH, the Zavala thing? Butterfly effect. Timey-wimey interference. Saving Ana from being dead, means Ol Z NEVER KNEW SHE DIED. How’s that for continuity? I agree about the Xol fight; very....bland. And Nokris as well; like, WTF? But all other points aside, this review sounded jaded, hateful, and toxic from the get go, which then warps opinions, based on opinions. Also, not everything the guy wrote may have been used (benefit of doubt). Also, retcon implies we knew, for certain, the lore was fact. Could this not just be an angry reaction to how they are evolving the story?

1 ReplySo it’s never possible for a character in a game to not know everything and be wrong...?

Edited by Teejaeche: 5/18/2018 12:43:47 AMYou've gotta remember that the FWC is weird, and may have unknown temporal influence. However, the combination of no explanation and no reaction about her continued existence is just one more in a series of plotholes that effectively covers every character in the story.

5 RepliesAna Bray was a name fairly familiar to people so they thought they'd use her. Regardless of her being dead or not. And definitely not have it ever brought up ever. Some of the writers really know their stuff. They're not the ones making the decisions. The ones making the decisions are the ones who have a history of reconning stories to fit their personal narratives. That being said, the possibility of the Exo Stranger being Elsie Bray gives them a slight out that she could of saved Ana with...time powers...or something.

1 ReplyIT TOOK HIM A YEAR TO WRITE FOUR STORY MISSIONS

5 RepliesAna was supposed to die, but someone intervened and placed her belongings (cloak&bracelet) at Twilight Gap so no one would try and track her down. This is because the No Time to Explain exists. Lakshmi has you investigating a ripple in time, meaning someone altered that event!

9 RepliesPermanent death for a Guardian doesn't seem to be possible by the nature of Guardians. What's stopping another Ghost from bringing them back again?
