Whoever is designing Titan armor needs to be fired!
Please for the love of god, stop making Titan armor with shoulders that are as tall as my head. I get titans are supposed to be big, but come on.

Agreed. I cant stand how every piece-of titan armor has boulders attached to shoulders. The only ones i can stand are the IB ones, Sloane armor, and shaxx armor because it reminds me of the oldschool wrestling duo

Amen brother!!! From the first week since I got D2, I immediately realized that there are only two or three decent looking shoulders. All others are ridiculously big!!! They look especially cartoonish if you are playing as a female! Huge shoulders with smaller frame make them look like bobble heads! I am not sure what inspired D2 designers to create those but it would be really great to see something different.

1 ReplyAs a Titan main and an concept artist there are only 3 arms for Titans I can stand wearing to make the character aesthetically interesting. Gensym knight- io Lost pacific- Titan synthoceps- exotic The rest are way to bulky and oddly shaped for my preference. Makes my character look absurd. Year 1 trials was my favourite, or and no backup plans

My favorite gauntlets ever were Monitor Type 2 from vanilla D1. They made you look like a Gundam! What happened to designs like these?

Have you seen the BrayTech armor for the Hunters? Looks like apres ski apparel gone horrible wrong.

Agreed! The giant toaster ovens on my titans shoulders makes his tiny t-rex arms look even shorter.

I completely agree, titan armour looks like it's been straight up ripped from world of warcraft. They could still make titan's look unique without making them hilarously big. Make the armour big but still practical!

1 ReplyI agree, In general i feel like all the titan armor in D2 SUCKS in comparison to what we got in D1, like, what actually happened. I went from having a ton of pieces that I liked and always swapped between for fun, to now, trying to choose which piece makes me gag the least.

Its ugly, agreed. The only one that looks cool is the new escalation event armor. But guess what no one is able to get it.

5 RepliesBetter than the hobo, patchy work gear, hunters get. Hunters look so scrawny and not even slick , they definitely need to bring back the flayers mantles and the dawning cloak.

1 ReplyWhoever designed the d1 titan armor did a great job. It’s like they wanted to make a bad joke for this game. The raid lair armor looks like the Michelin man. It all looks very un-threatening. The taken king iron banner armor was bad ass. But it’s like they wanted it to look more cartoony to appeal to a younger or less invested audience. It’s too over the top. Looks ridiculous.

I feel like SO much of the entire aesthetic and vibe changed in D2. The best way I’ve heard it described is armor in D2 looks like knock off fake armor of D1. There ARE some good sets out there, especially if you can find the right shader, but it def mostly looks cheap or something. I would actually say the Titan stuff is some of the best in the game relative to the others though. The Hunter gear has really started to bug me. It all looks flat or something. It has these details like buttons, flaps etc that need ridges, height, textures, but it’s just looks FLAT. Not a fan. I’d say a lot of the guns look really great, and some worlds too, but the armor needs MAJOR rework.
