How did Xol get to Mars?
How did it get from the centre of Fundament all the way to our solar system. There’s another entire Books of Sorrow just waiting for this story but why wasn’t it there? Sad.

The hive have access to multiple ways of teleportation. Mainly though their throne worlds. Xol creating a portal using his throne world wouldn’t be that much of a stretch, but there was a good chance he may have crashed on mars (like a meteor) creating Hellas basin itself

Xol felt threatened that he would be consumed by a more powerful worm god named Yul, the honest worm, so Xol and Nokris made a pact and went to mars to feed Xol and to make him more powerful.
