Banned for no reason

I was apparently banned for no reason, and if there is one, it was not given. I had pre-ordered this game so there was no possibility that it was a stolen key. I had just played this game perfectly fine three days ago but now I am banned. I looked through the CoC and there was nothing that me or my friends believed that I had done wrong. If someone can help me with this issue I would be so happy. Thanks.

  • Bungie doesn't give you a reason why you were banned. But it might have just been because you had some other random program, totally unrelated to the game, opened in the background. Not even injecting code (even though they say that it could only be because of that). I've seen this issue around the forum, and Bungie seems to just not care. I really hope they do look into these situations because the actual people that DO WANT TO PLAY AND LIKE THE GAME are getting banned for no reason. Blows my mind. Good luck!

  • Since you are on pc you likely have some type of injection software on your computer that was detected. That is a big no-no.

  • Typically, PC bans are due to software being detected on your PC that is against Bungie's policies. The includes, trainers, mods, aimbots, and cheat engines, even if not specifically for D2, but also can include things like debuggers for programing and some virus' or software that may try to inject code into D2. • Whether you feel you were banned for no reason or not, Bungie found something and banned your account. There is no disputing, no appealing, and it will not be reversed. I point you to their official policy that you should have read. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929
Disputing a Ban or Restriction There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. Bungie does not comment on or discuss individual account restriction or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. Bungie takes actions to preserve the experience of all Destiny players, and does not take account restrictions lightly. Players are responsible for their online account and console hardware, and any actions taken in the world of Destiny, and should be careful of who they allow to access their Destiny account.
