Error code Broccoli - PC - issues and "fix"

Hi, This past week has been a trial for my pc and Destiny 2, after having several bluescreens and some serious crashes. After a Google search today i found out alot of pc players have this same issue with Destiny 2 and nvidia gpu's. So here is my story and fixes so far. Spec: Windows 10 64-bit MSI Gtx 1070 Ti i7 - 6700K TLDR Hyperthreading disabled - Windows updated - reseated cpu, replugged psu/gpu, updated to nvidia driver 397.64. 1. Bluescreens Bluescreens coming abruptly at booting up pc after past Windows update not installing correctly. Would eventually boot after 3-4 tries, then being fine for a while. "Fixed" by disabling Hyperthreading on cpu (Bios) Windows updated nicely after this, booting as normal, no more bluescreens. Will try putting Hyperthreading back on to test stability. 2. Hard crashes Past 4-5 days experiencing hard crashes mid game while playing Destiny 2 (which is really just the only game i play now that the new DLC is out). Would usually crash late into a heroic strike, runnning nicely for 20 minutes, then entire pc shutting Down - trying to boot - turning back off after 4 Seconds. Would function normally after 10-15 minutes break. At times i thought it could be my psu, cpu or gpu. I reseated the cpu, replugged cables to psu and gpu. Nothing much happened. Then i got my pc running again, played another strike, it crashed at the boss again, this time i got an error code : Broccoli - which ofcourse pointed out that my gpu drivers might not be up to date. Fix: Updated gpu driver to nvidia Version - 397.64 (Game ready) After this, and all the above mentioned trials and errors, i played 5-6 hours with no issues. I hope this helps you out, for the moment it has worked for me. Good Luck Guardians :)

The issue for most people (myself included) is the recent Windows update 1803 in correlation with the recent Nvidia driver. Until Microsoft and Nvidia fix the problem, people will continue to experience crashes. Also remember that it's not limited to Destiny 2, other games are affected. There are plenty of people raising issues currently on the nvidia subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/8i6baz/driver_39764_faqdiscussion_thread/
