its solid silver
-
It has been and always will be silver from Halo 2 all the way up to Halo Reach ODSTs always have/had silver visors. I kinda explained the misconceptions about black and blue in a thing I wrote in the "How to Create Noble Team" thread. you can look it up if you like ^^ Trust me, ODSTs always have silver visors.
-
Read the descriptions. Bungie says it's silver.
-
The Silver Visor color has a description that says it has something to do with ODST's. Also, in ODST they changed the visor color back to silver. If you still can't make up your mind play the reach campaign on the level with ODST's and look at their visor, which i think is silver.
-
Silver and black fit the helm more then blue. The ODST visor might have a light or dark blue tint to it, but the current blue visor doesn't match the older pictures of it. Could always go into campaign and take a screenshot off one of the bullfrogs to compare.
-
Its silver in the main trilogy, in H3:ODST, its blue. Just take your pick.
-
HALO 3 AND ODST: VERY DARK BLUE HALO 2: SILVER ;p
-
it's blue
-
I roll with blue, but personal preference.

Look, guys, if you wanna get as close to an ODST as possible, use black. ODST visors are a very dark navy blue, they aren't silver, they aren't sky blue, they aren't black, they're a VERY dark navy blue. The only visor color available that comes anywhere close is black, so simply use black. Silver is far too light, same with blue. [Edited on 10.11.2010 2:19 AM PDT]

No. If you wear an ODST-colour visor, does that make you an ODST? No. That is how I feel the description is meant to be taken. By your logic, EVERY visor colour and armour piece would have that description.
the "isn't" is in reference to the fact that your character is actually a SPARTAN.
Which is the context I'm taking it in...

Silver, trust me.
-
read the description of the silver, I think it rings in with what you want.
-
I think it is between silver and blue, In the Reach campaign they have blue. Check out a picture in my file share called the squad. It has me with the ODST armour set with a silver along with other ODST's with a blue visor.
-
ODST's visor's always looked black in the game, so I'm using black. And now that I finally hit lt. col, my ODST is complete.
-
this topic is making me want to punch a baby
-
Blue is closest to the ODST visor.
-
It's silver hence the description of the Silver Visor having a reference to ODST.

It's silver, 1. Look at the description, ODST reference. 2. All you people are linking to concept art and ODST. Ever thought of GOING INTO REACH? The visor looks silver/grey in campaign. [Edited on 10.11.2010 1:59 AM PDT]

I know it's dark blue but silver is so much more sexier.

It's silver, most of the pictures that show it as blue or black are showing reflections.
