Why do I get punished for having sucky-ass team mates?
This ranked shit when you lose and it stacks because of the shitty ass teammates that have a ka/d of -blam!-ing 0.5 like WTF

1 Reply4 bloody games in a row lost, first 1.9 eff and we lost by 50 points, next game we ended up 4vs2, next game i entered 40 points down, last game our entire team sucked again... this is a fuking joke

That feeling when you do nothing yet you are still first... I just cant play this game anymore I developed psychological block I just must get atleast that first Glory rank BUT I CANT I allways get noobs. WHY BUNGIE YOU DUMB -blam!- WHY!!! WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!! Also I lost 8 times in row still playing agaist pros with OP equipment while I get noobs with level 8 ... They sad that they have skill based system that matches people with same skill. YEA -blam!- YOU BUNGIE SUCK A DICK AND EAT A BAG OF SHIT !

But I will always try to get that crucible milestone done. If I mess up your win streak, that’s your problem. If you don’t want ransoms in your team, go in as a 4-man fireteam. 👍

3 RepliesI got dropped into a game of 2v4 at the very beginning of a match... matchmaking didn't bring anyone else in. On what planet does that make sense? What algorithm or program do they run that just drops players in matches like that, then not drop in any other teammates? How is that allowed to happen? Bungie wants to get people into matches quickly and efficiently so bad that they end up throwing players in games like that and kill whatever hope we had left for matchmaking.

The best on the enemy team had 10 and we lost 6-4 Why? Because I’m apparently a magnet for teammates who a literally flaming garbage

1 ReplyI think losing streaks should go. Penalty for losing yeah fair one. But the way it is one game you spawn and it's 2 on 4 from the off, then you may get a few teams of 4 or someone leaves or disconnects . And suddenly half your glory is gone. Pretty shitty system

Just let all the sweaties have it for now... Go in next week or when you run out of something to do.. the match making will be a tad bit friendlier due to the ranking system. Between now and then, see if you can get a team put together to help build up and to organize team strats. It is going to be a sweaty ride for sure.. especially with randoms. I mean, quick play has been a blast since it was introduced... too many modded controllers, or keyboard and mouse users with xim connectors to compete anyways... once they are board.. should make it somewhat bearable

Best way to avoid that is to get a full fireteam together that you know will do well.

9 RepliesBecause game designers are lazy and continue to use a scoring system that was implemented in the 60's for chess. Elo ratings work just fine in a one-on-one game environment, where there's nothing to account for but individual player skill. When you introduce teams, there's just too many variables other than W/L to account for. The only way Elo ratings would ever be valid for multiplayer games would be if teams were locked to the same members, and teams were rated against each other, rather than individual players.
