I just got the game today and installed it.I have a Hp Omen 17 with a 1050Ti GPU and i7 CPU with 8gb RAM. Overall a system which is supposed to run games like Destiny 2. But now that i have the game and i try to start it a black screen opens with the background music playing and if i press Enter i can hear something happening but nothing happens after that.
I tried scanning for issues and did a lot of stuff but still nothing happens. I let it run for an hour and still nothing happens.
The problem is simalr to the one seen i the video but i do not have an external display to check it out.
Kindly help me fix this problem.

1 ReplyIt definitely might be the driver. I have to try rolling back to previous versions but I had the same issue on saturday. My gforce experience updated with a new game ready driver for D2 and also windows update...since then I've had the same problem. I am going to try the nvidia rollback and windows as well later today. Fingers crossed it works!

found a fix, it looks like a nvidia driver issue, downgrade to Version: 391.01 WHQL and that will get you back up and running with destiny. http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/131582/en-uk

I think every one with a gaming laptop are in the same boat. You can get it working with an external monitor but its a lot of messing about. I've got a laptop with a gtx 980m with same issue but no reply from bungie or fix yet as far as I know.
