After grinding for almost a full week i have 3 so dont feel bad.

I had two from 5 heroic strikes) I only got 4 after playing 5 heroic adventures and 3 heroic strikes. If it's required that we turn in 7 fragments every week before we get rewards from Escalation Protocol, the drop rate needs to be more guaranteed. I did enough work to get 8 in these 2.5 hours, but only got 5.[/quote] So you're saying that the key fragments should be dropping at the end of everything you do that gives you a chance to get a key fragment? Bungie has done more than enough dumbing down of Destiny 2 to have them dumb the game even more. Because everything would be to the point where you're simply given what you want for doing the least amount of work possible. And so would only serve to make the game so simplistic that there would literally be no point in playing Destiny 2. Because honestly, what's the point in continuing to play a game if you're simply going to have the rewards handed out to you without having to do much of anything and/or if you're only able to breeze through and have everything just automatically drop for you without? After all, there are no perk rolls. There are no variations in armor/weapons in terms of their boosts/perks/performance (except Exotic armor pieces and even they are static rolls). Meaning once you've gotten the weapons/armor pieces there's no reason to go back and do it again as you've already gotten what you wanted/needed. At which point your only option is to keep doing the same things over and over and get nothing in return. Or move on to a different game where there's actually a reason, point, purpose and/or challenge to playing.

Key word here is RNG. Bungie doesn't deal with guarantees. LOL! Sorry to disappoint you.
