When Skols was first released it was more of a challenge then most things Bungie created in D1. But it was nerfed because gamers didn't know how to adjust to the encounter. So some complained that it was "too hard". That needs to stop with this community. It's why 90% of everything in this game is so damn easy and easy turns into boring as hell, and boring as hell turns into gamers not playing the game. Especially when the rewards are not worth the time playing the game.

Tbf he was changed because you could burn him in 30 seconds with Ghorns or suffer the pain of 30 to 45 mins dodging tanky as hell mayor captains, sniper vandals and 1hko skolas scorch cannons.

They also removed some of the vandal's that sniped you. I can't remember what else they did.

They change the spawn rate from time based to health based because you got swarmed really fast by adds and it took forever to clear adds and dps skolas.

Yeah, i mean it was fun the first time to burn him with 4th horsemans and titan bubbles but doing that x3 each week became a hassle. What i never understood was the nerf to quadron, found verdict and invective did serious work of the barriers even without the jailbreaker buff, same with GG celestial nighthawk. Ah good memories.
