I'm getting the error, "Looks like you already own this" PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent after installing Warmind DLC.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling not only the DLC but the Destiny 2 game as well.
I have the Coldheart DLC, Curse of Osiris and Warmind, but even if I uninstall all but the Destiny 2 game and Warmind DLC I get the error.
From fresh, I reinstalled the game first then started and let it do the 38Mb update. The I entered the game and logged into one of my characters without issue, then quit out, completely quit the game then loaded just the Warmind DLC. When I started the game again I get this message.

Just start the game without downloading the dlc. It's working fine

2 RepliesGo to My Games and Apps, select the D2 game tile (but don't launch it), press the menu button and choose Manage Game. This takes you to the D2-specific game file area on your console - look in "Ready To Install" and "Updates" here and see if there is anything waiting to install. There was a small licensing update released after the expansion dropped, so you may need to still install that. Second, if you are game sharing on the XB1, only a HOME console can game share, so if it is not a HOME console, then set it to HOME and you should be okay.

Edited by jaaskk: 5/13/2018 12:53:33 AM*Quicker temp fix* just delete the 2x 10mb updates (exspansion I&II) then load game after verify reinstall them both while game is playing *no need to hard reset or rest modem/router* *note if you get kicked for idle you'll have to repeat the process as i just found out

1 ReplyUninstall the dlc. Turn off the console and unplug it. Then unplug your internet for 3min. Turn internet back on and let it reset then plug your console back in and reinstall dlc. Ive had to do this everytime ive tried to boot up the game. This clears the cache. So far bungie had yet to answer any of the reports in this ive and others have posted.

It might have something to do with the Expansion Pass? Did you anybody experiencing this issue buy it?

I have been having this issue too. Uninstalled/ reinstalled, hard reset cleared cache. My companion app wasn’t working as well, no idea if it’s linked. I signed out off the app and changed my Xbox to home Xbox and changed my game sharing settings. This won’t be handy if you game share though. Game works... for now

1 ReplyMy friend and I are also experiencing this issue intermittently. Good to know reinstalling makes no difference!

My game did this several times on Xbox One... I waited about 15 minutes after signing out and back into my profile and its working now... seems like some sort of bug thats not fixed yet
