Warmind heroic strikes bug (milestones, loot and Ana Bray missions)
We just finished two heroic strikes, my friend and I both had IKELOS_R_V1.0.1 equiped.
We encountered three problems :
- Heroic strikes seem to be level 350, our loots were blue 337
- Weekly heroic strikes milestones didn't count our strikes
- Ana Bray mission item which should count them didn't either

Yeah i thought my milestone engrams dropping at my current light or 3-5 higher was NOT what Bungie had stated. My strike counter isn't working either and they were a bit vague on the "mitigation steps". They said to resolve an issue with (something different) sign into all characters. I've done this and it didn't work. If that's not the right steps, they didn't say what it was, just that they plan a hotfix on May 15th. I've got better things to do, not sure if I'm going to return to this game. I've stopped paying different times for around 4-5 months total and still have over 870 hours on D2 with thousands on D1. This destiny veteran has just about had enough.

The bug is still not fixed. Just found out about this after spending a good amount of time in heroic strikes, waste of my damn time. You already murdered the game Bungie, please stop.

2 RepliesGuys when you start heroic check if on the right down side is a list of modificators, if they are shown it will work and count. I played yesterday and asked my team why i dont see them and after ending a strike it didnt count.

Same issue when I solo queued trying to do 5 for the quest and get 3 done for powerful engram. It's like RNG, some work most don't. Although I went in on another character with 2 friends and all 3 strikes counted toward milestone.None of us had an issue. We didn't have the quest active at the time on our characters.

So far the strikes where this DOES NOT occur are the new mars strikes, Pryramidian, and Exodus crash. All other strikes have not given credit. If we do not get the above strikes we just back out immediately and look for a new strike party. So far it works. And the weapons dealer! Just finished that and got credit. Forgot about it was the nightfall so we assumed incorrectly that it didn't give credit. :P

Same And boy enven 3 light level under and i'm getting reckt and win to see after my seventh Heroic that i finished the Milestone but not the Ana bray weapon ? Either it's a bug or intended this way. Also i reallllly love the new Dificulty XD

Seems like it’s all over and I must say 11/2 hours grinding on them and nothing for it is getting old.

im having the same issues everytime i do a heroic strike its not counting towards the heroic strike mile stone.

1 ReplyI can't even begin to explain how frustrated i am about this glitch right now. I've been defending this game since it came out and this latest dlc i hoped had so much promise for the game and so far all its done is make me question why i even bother playing it. Not only is this glitch annoying but the new difficulty spike is ridiculous, i'm happy for a challenge but when the game consistently fails to drop higher level loot making it near impossible to infuse your gear to a higher level what is the point? Also is it just me or is ammo dropping also a problem now? I can go through an entire strike and fail to even get a heavy drop.

2 RepliesI've also encountered a massive bug with the escalation part not counting to the quest at all. I have completed at least five separate first waves (defeating the ogre) on an escalation with the hand cannon equipped and still the quest counter reads zero. It makes the 6 heroic strikes I did to count 5 on the step before seem like a good deal! At least the nodes I'm finding are all counting. Not very respectful of our time to add extra grind to the grind

NOTE: after u complete a strike back out of mm and restart the process failure to do so will put u in a light lvl 350 strike where ur enemies have the mods in there favour while your SOL. this has worked for me 100% of the time. please let me know if it helps you the players. or the devs. #heresmyapplication

Got this bug too,I've just done two heroic strikes and I'm not getting any milestone progress here. Glad to see other people have this same problem.though I was at fault here somehow

I'm on "The Warmind's Glory" quest from Ana. This quest wants me to do 5 heroic strikes. I've done three and only one of them has counted towards my quest. This is super frustrating. I guess now that I look at it, only one of the strikes counted for my weekly milestone. Doing strikes above my light level is challenging but add people leaving, being forced to waste a gun slot on a gun I don't like and then to have it not count? Bogus af. I wish they would put some sort of in game notice on that quest man so people (like me) don't was their time on it, not knowing its bugged.

Edited by KytsuneVT: 5/9/2018 11:18:17 PMThere seem to be two issues relating to this. The first is that sometimes trying to launch a heroic strike can launch a normal strike instead. The other is the issue regarding use of the mobile app and the API for third-party applications. I was making sure that I was always launching the correct activity and after double checking that nothing was the problem on that front (reading through Bungie's help post) I logged in to each of my other characters to resolve this second issue. Only after I had logged into all of my characters would my milestone and quest step track that I had completed a strike. TL;DR try logging in to all of the characters you have then returning to your current character and trying the strikes again.

REAL FIX: I've said this many times but nobody seems to have seen my comments. All you need to do is make sure you are NOT the fireteam leader when you join the heroic strike playlist. Once you make sure of this, you will be able to gain progress on your milestone.

What's funny is you still have the burns and enemies are still 350 and can one hit kill, done 4 strikes only 2 counted. I'll be surprised if the raid even launches on Friday.
