The topic says it...
1. Bungie we should be able to get more than 3 people in a fire team If you have an event for 9 people, let my clan mates play together the more the merrier!!!
2. Since Bungie doesn’t allow this yet, any best practices to get more than just our fire team on the same patrol map?
Thanks!!

1 ReplyExactly, there should be a way for clanmates to join the same instance and not just as a fireteam. Guess the closest is to try and plan like these guys did... https://www.vg247.com/2018/05/14/destiny-2-warmind-bring-nine-players-escalation-protocol/

5 RepliesThe real question is how to get your clan to log at all 😂

Take advantage of Bungie's modus operandi... 1) Bungie is cheap. Servers are geographic and not Legion. Have folks in close geographic proximity join where you want to go. Head to a set location. When they meet, join up on them... Can take 3-5 attempts but it works. 2) Bungie is lazy. Three guys go somewhere then split to orbit and individually come right back. Head to a designated spot. When the meet, everyone else joins. This works because they will often join their last server because of cached connection info. Option 1 is the more reliable of the two. We'd use these methods to get three teams of three into Court or the Forge. Can work on planets too...

They need to allow at least teams of six, how are we supposed to orchestrate a decent attack if we can only get randoms who aren't in the same party and we just have to hope there are other people there. it makes no sense and absolutely destroys the whole idea, which is a shame because it's a great idea that I love.

Edited by AFrickenMeerkat: 5/8/2018 5:16:27 PMOur clan did this in D1. It takes patience. Form 2-3 fireteams of 3, have one stay on Mars. The other 2 keep loading into Mars until you wind up on same server. Trial and error. We did it on Venus in D1, but it takes time. Depends on player count in map too (ie, enough space). Good luck!

1 ReplyThey way we did it in the court of orxy was get a random to inv our friend to their team and make them leader and leave. Not many are willing to do this but there are a few out there

Archons forge? Court of oryx? Get messaging.
-
Nah you could Never like court of oryx strictly 3 people Had a friend on the dreadnaught at the same time and as soon as went into court he was gone Even in wotm you could not get into the arena
-
Same way we did it for court of Oryx.

3 RepliesMessage a random player in your fireteams patrol.. Have them invite your clan mates and pass lead then they leave and invite the last player
-
You can probably fudge it, same way you could in court of oryx, by splitting up before you go in, and the rest joining the players that end up in the same instance.
-
2 RepliesIt should honestly. Better communication and more fun that way.
