Some of you felt you wanted an apology from Bungie. This is probably the best you'll get.

1 ReplyAn honest apology, thanks Josh. Now please show your truely sorry by fixing the PvE side on Destiny 2! Here's a small list. 1) Bring back the D1 raid model, where there is actual loot specific to that raid boss, to grind for, and more than 3 encounters per raid. 2) Stop re-skinning story missions as strikes. 3) Have greater character customization in the sub-class tree's. I guess before 1.2.0 this list would have been much longer and is therefore testement to your and everyone's hard work at Bungie.

12 RepliesThe future is definitely bright!!!!!! I dont sign on to Destiny anymore!!!!! I wont get let down anymore and have loot boxes of any sort shoved in my face anymore!!!!!! F U Bungie management!!!!! Greedy lazy arses should ashamed.....Bungie should make mobile games called “Hope Crush” or something like that with a spinning loot box wheel and Luke Smiths picture in the background.....

Bungie apologizes a lot. They just wait till there's a patch about to launch thatsee going to fix something before they acknowledge was a problem and apologize.

14 RepliesEdited by Demon_XXVII: 5/9/2018 1:26:40 PMHe needs to issue another apology (He/They won't) & and announce a mass refund policy (no fvcking chance) For the state of "Warmind" ....especially the campaign, Using a Lost Sector in EDZ to fill out what's possibly the shortest & worst 'Expansion in Destiny history No other Dev can do less with more than Bungie. Hundreds of staff and millions of dollars to do so little. It just seems impossible sometimes. They're so, so bad at this. This IS a management & financial/ structural issue. This DLC was probably pumped out on a shoestring budget, on the lowest quote, with a skeleton crew right after the main game was finished and everyone else was shuffled off to the Taken Queen. Disgraceful! Remember 'Making content is too hard' So with Warmind, they didn't even bother trying with campaign

Edited by Lan1: 5/10/2018 3:28:03 PMLet’s all remember the team that is fixing D2 is the team that fixed D1 and got it to where it is. Meanwhile the team that messed up D1 and D2 are making D3 and might actually mess it up a third time unless something changes.

33 RepliesEdited by Technohydra: 5/8/2018 3:19:20 PMIt amazes me that a lot of people actually think that Bungie employees are blind to the issues in D2. To your point, we don't hear them talk about it much if at all. It doesn't come across in the narratives that are put out, be that via TWAB, streams, social media, etc. No one comes on the forum and says to us, "Well folks, I can officially announce that we recognize we -blam!-ed the dog on this one." I think a lot of people have been looking for that, and it's generally not something we are going to get. These days, companies in apology mode are in a crisis, because it seems like it happens only when they are at risk of being killed. But to the thinkers of the company, it's impossible for them to not get that the game thus far hasn't been what they hoped it would be. I bet a lot of the people that play as well as support the product have the same gripes we do. The difference: a lot of them are constrained from saying anything, not only to us, but back to the company as well. Bungie operates on a very strong Yes-man culture, and being a detractor is likely employment suicide for any but the most indespensable of persons. The fact that Josh has begun commenting openly about the sorry state of the launch product is a very good indicator that the people that had such a tight hold on the reins have finally had a hard come to Jesus moment, and realized that there is no stopping the downward slide if they stayed on the current course. I have said from the beginning, someone at Bungie had a vision of where they wanted this game to be: this vision wasn't connected to reality, or the player ask, but rooted in what they saw as 'the way'. Whoever that is (or they were), I think they aren't steering the ship anymore, and the last couple of months have started to show it. Could be wrong, but the numbers seem to add up, to me.

1 ReplyWhat's the worth of an apology if it's more of the same? I really don't see bungo at it's current pace fullfilling it's 10 year plan for destiny.

“I honestly understand why you feel that way Jacob. I’m sorry we let you down. We’re working our asses off to turn it around and bring the hobby back though. I feel like the last few updates have really started to change that and I believe the future is bright. I hope you join us.” For those of you too lazy to click the link.

and again one more lie from Bungie

A quick point . You know when it’s easy to apologize ? After you have been caught doing something you shouldn’t have or failed to do. It’s pretty much what everyone is taught from childhood . Why praise anyone for that ?
-
They had to have done this on purpose, they were in a prime position to go up with TTK d1 as a springboard. But they just climbed down the later, what happened?
-
Yes, to implement a prismatic matrix into our inventory to make even more sure to never forget Evilverse was definitely a move into the right direction^^ Was obviously not enough to connect Evilverse to the endgame or to build the game around it, to have it in the inventory is definitely a move forward^^ What a bunch of -blam!-ing clowns!
