extremely low FPS, settings have NO influence, GTX 1070

Hi, I had the game installed for some time during the trial and it worked fine without any problems. Today I installed the full game and tried playing. The onscreen FPS display shows 15-22 FPS everywhere. In menus, in game. Doesn't matter. Changing any graphic settings doesn't do anything. To the point that even changing the resolution to a different aspect ratio doesn't matter. I'm using a 21:9 monitor and after setting the resolution to 1920x1080 it stay exactly the same (no stretching or black borders). I tried to crank up everything to the max and even set the render resolution to 200%. It didn't change anything, either. The only things that seem to change anything (not framerate, though) are the "fullscreen / windowed" etc. options. They work. But, no fps change at all. My Nvidia drivers are up to date. Any other games work perfectly (Overwatch running at over 200 fps eg.). Help would be appreciated as the game is completely unplayable as it is.

I am having what's seems like the exact same problem. I've played the game in past and it was alright but now it is running on 15-20 fps no matter if I am on low or hight settings. Nothing that I can measure through the windows task manager is not on 100%, not even over 70% Other games are fine. I have Nvidia drivers up to date, even tried reinstalling them - nothing Anyone know what may help? (Also the loading times are long and even the UI is occasionally SUPER laggy like going to the setting and not seeing any text in all the rectangle buttons)

  • OK... Somehow the issue resolved itself. I rebooted my PC and looked into the nVidia settings. Found that for some reason (I didn't ever touch it) the DSR settings were changed. Set everything to default. Anyway - now I'm getting a constant framerate of about 120 with everything set to max. Weird. But as it's working, I'm fine with this.
