Character Transfer from Console to PC
I think that character transfer should be a thing for destiny. I have recently moved from Ps4 to PC and i had to restart from 0 when on ps4 i have ever exotic all character pretty much 335. Restarting from scratch when you have everything doesn't really give me motivation to even continue playing destiny.

3 RepliesI'd agree with a one time platform transfer of the Destiny 'account'. All Destiny characters and items are removed from the original system and moved to the appropriate ID on the other. Any platform specific items would be lost. I played Destiny on PS4 and XB1 and am doing the same with D2, so I know what it's like to have to collect everything all over again. Personally that's one of the most enjoyable parts though.

Bungie pulled shit like that and Sony would hang them at the gallows. Exclusives doesn't mean available to everyone. Exclusives means available to those who pay the most. Shouldn't matter though since PC is a totally different game right? Shouldn't be too boring to replay the story with those awesome 60fps

1 ReplyIt won't happen because consoles (Microsoft and Sony) are very protective of their playerbases. They're the only reason we can't have the epic tri-cross-platform games we need.

I could see it happening between PC and Xbox, but it wouldn't work with Ps4 because of exclusives

How else will they keep you as a paying customer? But yeah, account portability would be pretty sweet. I'm sure they could even figure out a way to lock down console exclusives with a "sorry, you must be playing on a ps4 on order to access this item" descriptive tag. Oh well... Edit: switching from Xbox to PS4 in TTK was the worst for me. I had almost everything for exotic gear and suddenly had nothing, and suddenly my RNG went to crap, too.
