Took the Tower in a direct attack in about 10min Literally uses the Traveler as a battery allowing him to use all 3 elements at will with next to no limits... And I beat him without a sweat. Didn't even worry about ammo Panoptes: can literally rewrite reality in the Infinite Forest, has access to infinite battle strategies, meant to extinguish the Sun. And goes down easier than Gaul and does it without some grandiose speech. Bungie, sweetie, WHERES THE THREAT?!?!! Gaul Nova bomb barely hurts you and inflicts slow...wooo. "Dawnblade" that you can literally step out of the way of? (I don't even know what his Arc was) Where was Gaul draining our Light? Where was him trapping us in a Titan Bubble that locked out weapons so we had to roll to a Light Well to break free? Where were the sunspots that chain us down? Where were the Light Clones assaulting us? Panoptes was literally adds, Osiris does a light show, shoot Panoptes with like 5 bullets and it looses 1/3 health... dude that's just lazy. How about Panoptes whipping up some unholy Vex/Hive/Fallen/Cabal hybrids? How about some Panoptes Lasers that temporarily turn you into a Vex and give you Vex weapons? Panoptes could've [i] easily[/i] made us chase it through the different simulations at different time periods (maybe even one where good ole Saint makes a cameo) At no point in either of these fights did I feel any sense of danger or adrenaline rush. Now Omnigul, she was a rush. Adds galore, the random Ogre, not knowing if someone will crack under the pressure, the occasional Omnigul Screech™. Regicide had some fun twists to it at the end making me feel a sense of panic. But D2 bosses? Honestly, the easiest bosses in my gaming life. If it wasn't for the whole "Expansion Pass" nonsense, I wouldn't even be playing anymore. Bungie, you're capable of way more than this.
