I hope Bungie never reveals Shaxx's face
Doing so would probably result in quite a lot of disappointed people, hardly anyone would be satisfied. Keeping him faceless, just with a voice, allows for individual interpretation and makes everyone equally right and wrong.
Bungie did it with Master Chief too, and that was the right decision as well.

2 RepliesPersonally, I couldn’t care less if they revealed Shaxx’s face. I would love for more dialogue and story elements of him in PVE activities. As to why, I’m referring to the Sunbreaker Class mission where you hear him say “Shot out of a friggin anti aircraft gun” Just him saying “friggin” warms my heart. Could you imagine if we were driving a Drake and he yelled “Sometimes a tank is better than light. WREAK HAVOC HAHAH!”

Edited by Criewolf: 5/7/2018 7:50:40 AMActually multiple books have described the Master Cheif in detail, eye color, hair color, skin color, and that must’ve been with the first set of Eric Nylund novels over 10 years ago. Shaxx will eventually be revealed. It’s not a matter of if they wanted him relatable to the player. They simply did not have enough time/resources nor want to put forth the effort of fleshing out a character who amounted to little more than a ringside announcer. Honestly his voice actor from TWD would probably end up a good fit although he resembles helmet-less Lord Saladin a little too much so I could be wrong.
