After maining my titan for the past however long, I think the armor in D2 is way too bulky
destiny 1 had a nice thing going, but d2 makes titans look like a walking scrapyard - literally no set looks good
hopefully bungies artists dial it back with upcoming gear sets...

The whole point of titan was that they are heavy armored but fast enforcers. They are the walls that keep us safe and the hammers that strike back fierce fast and strong and Destiny 1 armors adapted to this. Strong and sturdy armors with streamline and subtle design to allow quick movement. Makes sense inlore aswell for strikers to have more sleak and subtle design armor so they can move faster to utilize their strikes. Destiny 2 armors look clumsy laughable even, they are way too bulky and in reality you couldnt even bloody move in them. the shoulder pads would prevent most of the movement and as you see in the game when you ult most of the time the bloody things clip through your body more than 20x. It looks horrible both in design and gameplay perspective. I would understand that Sentinels in D2 would have more Sturdy armor as they have allways been the shield. But strikers and dawnbreakers need to be more versatile. Now when I look back to D1 after D2 armors. the Titans look more fierce and dangerous in D1 while in D2 they look like comedy gold. You know like a muscly guy who cant scratch his nose because he is too pumped up.

I like the Osiris armor and the Iron Banner armor but that’s it. Oh and crucible armor look decent but it’s so damn much
-
The hardys set from eververse season 3 look pretty good tbh, shoulders are slightly bigger than lost Pacific set, but I like the fact you can see fabric as well. Never been a fan of the bulky robotic looking Armour.
-
2 RepliesI love the new Escalation Protocol armor. I can’t wait to get a full set on my Titan.
-
3 RepliesGet the trials gear. It's sweet.
-
1 ReplyMy titan is slimmy lol

1 ReplyEdited by blumpkinator28: 5/4/2018 8:53:33 PMCompletely agree but I feel the complaint stems from a larger problem, there aren’t enough armor variations, so many pieces of “new” armor we get is reskined armor that is already in the game, in d1 there was more armor and armor sets to choose from so you could have bulky titan if you wanted one or a leaner titan if you wanted. The same goes for warlocks they took away our god damn shoulder pads.

All D2 titans are "pro" NFL players ....
-
2 RepliesThey look fine. When you think of titan you want to picture a tank. Someone that will protect you and beat shit up. Plus titan means, "(usually lowercase) a person or thing of enormous size, strength, power, influence, etc.: "

1 ReplySuggestion: Add Titan shoulderpad scale slider.

1 ReplyLost Pacific set.

FWC titan is smaller, I was asked if I was a warlock.

Titan armour from Warminds EP looks much better. The same can't be said for the PlayStation exclusive armour, it's absolute wank.
-
I like the iron banner set buuuut that's it.
-
Iron banner Titan looks badass, but the rest is kinda over the top like
-
Bump, you can't convince some people. Most of the people here put everything good that Destiny 1 offered in their rearview. Titans looked badass in D1.

Maybe all of the above, and I can kinda see it. It is the visual language for the class, however destiny had a more scrapped together look to it.
-
2 RepliesI disagree, bulky seems fine to me.

I’m a fan of titans looking heavy and bulky, hunters sleek and spiffy and warlocks magical and robey. All with a tattered, ripped and war torn aesthetic.
-
Nah. I much prefer the look of D2 armor versus D1. If you compare it to armor sets in D1 I think you'll see that the helmet, chest, and leg armor have all been streamlined. Gauntlets are not bigger by comparison it's just that the rest of the armor has gotten slimmer so it exaggerates the shoulders. If I compared my two favorites, Shelter in Place (D2 Vanguard) to Duskrender (D1 Vanguard), I would say that Shelter in Place is actually less bulky than Duskrender.

1 ReplyObviously you've never play WoW...titans too bulky lol. If anything they could get even bigger, more grandiose armor sets.
-
2 RepliesIt's ok. My titan looks pretty good. I just want my Infinite Lines helmet back.
-
Yeah I tend agree, it's the ridiculous shoulder pads. I think the Ikora set is the only set where the shoulder pads aren't too ridiculous
-
Agree.

1 ReplyI realize it is just a game but come on, how could a Titan aim down sights?
