Keen Scout and Focused Breathing in the Arcstrider and Nightstalker Subclasses are both perks that are supposed to increase sprint speed. However, lately it’s been becoming more and more clear just how minuscule of a buff they provide to sprinting. Especially since the “Go Fast Update”.
All I request is one thing for both of these perks: buff the boost to sprint speed so it can make a difference.
You said it yourselves both out of the game and in the game that Hunters are supposed to be the fastest Class of them all, yet why is it that they get outran by a Warlock spamming Glide and a Titan spamming Lift?
TL;DR- Bungie, please buff Keen Scout and Focused Breathing sprint speed bonuses so Hunters can sprint just as fast as a skating Titan/Warlock.

1 ReplyThey do increase sprint speed and hunters sprint faster than warlocks and titans. However sprinting is not the fastest mode of transportation, blink, titan scooting (not skating in D2) and warlock floofing is.

You said it yourselves both out of the game and in the game that Hunters are supposed to be the fastest Class of them all.
1: I have never heard Bungie say that, if you can provide a link I would concede the point. But that is something that the community has been saying, and it has never been true.
yet why is it that they get outran by a Warlock spamming Glide and a Titan spamming Lift?
2: People have a done a crap ton of tests, I have ran a crap ton of tests. This is just not true outside of the PC platform. On the console a Hunter can match the forward momentum of a TItan and a Warlock scooting by using strafe jump. And this can be done by just using Keen Scout or Focused Breathing and a lightweight weapon. A Titan or Warlock have to use a Exotic in order to match that speed. 3: You may not have noticed but there is a exotic coming in Warmind that will make Hunters even better mobility wise. Fr0st-EE5. They have a perk well had it in D1 where your turn radius is much tighter when sprinting. I mean the change feels like you go from a 5 sensitivity to a 9 or 10, you can do a 180 faster than people can stop and ADS on you. If they also bring back the buff to ability cooldowns these will be a lot of people's go to exotic in PvP.

I'd be down for it. I concur that the 'buff' it gets is nigh unnoticeable... Like 0.04% And/or make strafe jump more "strafey." If it gave more horizontal movement on a delayed activation, that might help Hunters at least keep pace.

3 RepliesPersonally no so we can avoid the whole forum wanting to nerf us again. I have no personal issue with it right now honestly. Only problem I have is Arcstrider not losing super when tethered by spamming light and heavy attacks
