Wow it felt like I was reading grimoire cards again, I’m pleasantly surprised by the tone and the mystery of each story. I hope you guys do a lot more in the future and add it to the library of all the other grimoire.
This is an awesome first step in bringing back true lore!

1 ReplyThey're all fantastic so far, and definitely read like grimoire cards. It'd be awesome if they're a few of new set of grimoire cards being added with Warmind linked to the data fragment collectables on Mars. (and accessible via a lore/grimoire tab in game)

19 RepliesOMG! You guys are so easy. So pleased to be back at square one. Yippie! We have Grimoire. Is it in the game? Was all the existing Grimoire still removed? Is it in the game? So we aren't even back to square one yet. Yes it's great reading. I do like the tone and details in general. But, considering D2's tone and details are poor... What have we gained? Yes I appreciate Bungie making a decision to give us more lore but it is still not present in the game. All this lore present on the web just underscore to me that Warmind will make little if no improvements on this front.

But isn’t this like a worse version of the original destiny grimuar? Its like they are getting praised for bringing back a quarter of something they deleted already. As far as i have seen this is only on improvement on destiny 2 and miles away from what was already set years ago that they deleted because bungie somehow makes every game release worse then their previous game even after using almost all the same assets and engine.

Most excited Ive been in a while. Put it in game! Bring back Grimoire... just have it in game to access like Mass Effect. Done.

The Nokris one sold me

I liked how it gave us different perspectives simultaneously. Like individual cogs moving together to drive the narrative.

Even God of War has in game lore. This isn't a step in the right direction. It's a bandage solution.
