1 ReplyEdited by piratepatchy243: 5/7/2018 3:36:50 AMI just laugh at all the nerf hunter posts, they're the most -blam!-ed class and you still can't beat them whilst bitching about it. Edit:Not the OP, nerfherders.

We don’t hate hunters (I personally don’t anyways) as a titan main I hate my own subclasses more than anyone else’s because they’re for lack of a better word lackluster.

Hunters aren't OP. Come to think of it, Warlocks and Titans aren't OP, either. Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans could do with serious buffs. Screw balance. -
3 RepliesI don't know what a hunter looks like.
-
What is Hunter? I thought Titan was only class.
-
Hunters aren’t op anymore, they’re just the most used because of capes and the jump. Nothing wrong with that. I’d say all the classes are pretty balanced now.

I feel people misinterpret the meaning of having more than double Hunter kills than they do Titan or Warlock kills. A. There could just simply be more Hunters than Titans or Warlock available to kill in the first place. (Can't kill any Titans or Warlocks if the enemy team is all Hunters). B. Hunters are twice as easy to kill as the other two. The only time I feel threatened by Hunters is when they use their Arc Staff. And even then, if you dance over their head, there is absolutely nothing they can do to you. Granted that does mean that the Hunter is keeping you in Check for a pretty extensive period of time. More than enough time for teammates to come pick you off.

2 RepliesNo idea but i punched a Hunter to death yesterday (as Titan) and got a pop up telling me to go see Shaxx for my reward. I think Warlocks have a slight advantage over the other two classes (Titan and Hunter don't really have anything with the sustained destructive power as Stormcaller) but other than that it's all down to how you play them.

5 RepliesCloak and dagger classes are very popular because it's what edgy weeb players like, which happens to be the majority of players. And since more players play a certain class, there are more players of that class that go to the forums and whine about the other classes. They main Hunters, and haven't played the other two classes as much so they are biased in thinking that they are the weakest class because all they see are them being killed by Titans and Warlocks. Hunter's are arguably the most thought out class in Destiny 2. They can have their Melee Ability recharged every 12 seconds when properly modded. They can instagib other players across the map with Golden Gun. They can swing through suppression effects using Arc Staff, which can also last for a very long time. They can suppress choke points and gain territory advantage with Shadowshot. They have great passives that increase recharge for their abilities, invisibility, sprint faster, have a better radar, and tracking. They also have at least four Exotics that are staples. They excel in PvE and PvP, but a whole lot of casual Hunters will always complain that they are the inferior class. In reality, they would still cry about being the weakest class even if they picked Titan or Warlock because it's the person playing the class and not the class itself. And they don't realize this.

3 RepliesWhen it comes to cqc Hunters have the most mobility and directional control when it comes to jumping. The majority of Hunters I've faced in cqc jump around, throw smoke and use a sidearm or smg to mow you down while you try to get your aim back on them. I've tried everything I can do as a Titan to counter it and I rarely ever can. Obviously I could just be kinda bad at it but I know I'm not the only victim of this strategy.

Lol I switch between a hunter and warlock I’ve really played the hunter more recently but I have times where all I want to do is play warlock. Warlock is the most “OP” of the two to me, warlock has devour on its void set up which is insanely good but but I use the dawnblade more because it has more options for being crafty and you can two hit melee kill. Warlocks are better in my opinion as far as just outright being able to put people down
-
They’re not OP, they’re just really annoying and irritating to deal with
-
Not op.....just easy

Titan main, titan melee doesnt always connect, hunters have the shortest special cooldown (Dodge) thats like so unfair haha, but seriously titan shoulder charge got nerfed then buffed again ( i still think its nerfed) so i have to run a marathon before it would activate, i cant outrun arkstrider because i have no thumbs and cant press jump but you can walk away from mh smash which isnt fair bungie please buff me too i want to melee hit someone from across the maps then drop some nuts Please dont take this seriously people im being sarcastic about most of this the only part im not being sarcastic about is droppin the nuts haha O and your dam skip grenade chased me to my dogs vets uncles grandad

1 ReplyHunters are not legitimately overpowered. They're not underpowered either. However, they are also NOT perfectly balanced - just like the other two classes. Everyone needs a few careful tweaks. What I don't agree with are Hunters that whine that they're too weak and need extreme improvements like being able to one-shot enemy players at long distances whose supers are active, or adding invulnerability frames to the dodge roll.

As a warlock main...It does't seem to me like hunters are op.

17 RepliesEdited by BornfromtheVoid: 5/2/2018 2:03:20 PMSeriously you sound more whiny than the Titans and Warlocks when they try to act like the classes are actually even. (To avoid the Hunter buffs)

I have all 3 classes so I can only speak from my experiences. Depending on application hunters can be pretty op. I'm no good with my Hunter in the crucible, then again I'm no good at all in crucible, but in my pve play my hunter can deliver a lot of damage very quickly. When I'm grinding public events I consistently solo heroics with my Hunter. I run gunslinger with celestial nighthawk and wardcliff coil. I kill everything so fast while moving at top speed. Fighting against hunters in crucible I'm either always blind and tethered or shooting at an invisible sanic hegehog. It gets frustrating.

21 RepliesEdited by Forest: 5/1/2018 4:46:42 AMThis is really sad and pathetic that you Hunters truly believe you are not overpowered but you are underpowered. Lets start with grenades. They have some of the best grenades in the game skip, arcbolt, swarm, tripmine (since it's a actual trap and can allow great flanks), vortex, smoke bombs (literally stops a charging titan and blinds). Skip and swarm grenades are literally colony juniors for Hunters. Best melee in the game. Don't say all melee is equal trash when you Hunters consistently cry about how your slower when all classes move the same speed. Hunters lung range is definally greater than Titan or Warlocks. Supers. Golden gun is point and win period there is nothing hard about it point your gun at a enemy and hit the fire button twice or if you actually have some skill once cause you actually aimed for the head. While Hammer and Sword do not point and win and Gun is twice if not three times as fast as hammer and sword. GG is the easiest super to use in the game ZERO SKILL needed. Arc staff have tier 1 speed meaning no body can outrun you. Has a massive 360 hit detection and extremely fast swing speed. Can dodge everything including other supers including the exploding hammer of sol. Shadowshot......... Snares, weakens tethered targets, negates skills and supers, jerks you aim away from the hunter, instantly tethers as soon as it lands none of this takes forever to tether BS you cry about, stupidly massive range, tethers through walls. And you idiots want to be a 1 shot kill on top of all those debuffs. So hopefully this clears up why Hunters are the EASIEST and most OVER POWERED class in the game and stack them with OP weapons like Vigilance wing or Colony you make the easiest and most OPclass even more easy and OP. Any Hunter who cries for buffs cause they are underpowered is nothing more than a skill less player who needs to just quit the game. Also Hunters are not slower than Titan or Warlocks stop saying you are all classes have equal speed.

Edited by IGotYour6: 5/1/2018 7:57:16 PMLook at the guardian.gg Trial stats by class on console and choose the date range 2018-01-01 through today and Average KDA and then click the Update icon. Look at the chart and you will see that during the past five months Hunter average KDA has continuously been higher than Titan and Warlock in Trials. You can go farther back and see essentially the same thing but the chart gets hard to read.

Warlock main since D1 Hunters are annoying.. Nothing more.. and its really only ShadowShot during Mayhem. Others wise you are some squishy Guardians.
-
They have best ad clear super, only orb machine super, and best boss dps super

Because in destiny, if it is popular, you hate on it. I’ll watch streams of really good pvp players... that are running a hunter, and complaining about hunters if they are losing. They will call out meta users, while using the meta... etc etc. But in destiny... the preferred class for a lot of players is the the class with the best speed and agility because those two things help avoid dying and allow for teams to push and separate a team. Since d1 introduced a “competitive” game mode, players have obsessed on the best builds. The hunter shines currently in d2 with said scenario. Obviously this has nothing to do with talent, but a trend. Trends eventually get picked on.
