Solo players. You bought a cooperative shooter.
You knew what you walked [b]into[/b] If you don’t like it well wrong game for you. And to those in a clan saying your a solo player stop typing leave the clan that you joined for the engrams then come and respond.

1 ReplyBungie has no idea what Destiny is that's the problem. Oh it's a social game. Well they did a great job with all the in game communication, LFG, and matchmaking. Oh wait that's all pretty non existent or a cluster -blam!-. Bungie just started to address some of these issues in D2. If you're going to release a "social game" you'd think the development of the social aspects and mechanics would be a focus. But instead Destiny is a mash of competitive FPS/ MMO RPG. It's just been one big experiment. We've been paying for one huge long Beta for real. That's why everything from materials to the progression system in in constant flux. There is no base to build upon because it's constantly changing. Just Fix or figure out a system for endgame match making and problem solved. At this point though there's so many other issues that I hardly doubt this issue will be addressed.

Yes, let's make a cooperative shooter but give our players next to no social and recruitment tools in the game and force them to use different sites and apps and then wonder why people play alone.

So the campaign was not solo, you took a fireteam through it to help you. Maybe you are jealous that some solo players are more skillful than you and don't need to be carried by 2 better players

1 ReplyWrong. WE bought a game that has Solo and Multiplayer content. It just so happens that 3 activities in the game are fire team only. I don't play those (and many others don't either) and I'm OK with it. I assume you do patrols and public events so stop being an elitist douche and mind your monophobic business. Most of us don't mind playing with other people we just don't want to have to bring our own team to play. Matchmaking IN GAME is just fine.

Solo player. Never had a clan engram give me shit. Play cooperatively when I need to only. Solo Nightfall’s, Solo raider, occasional solo PvP-er! 4500 hrs in D1 and 2. Happy up to now...

7 RepliesAs a solo que player I played all of d1 basically by myself and I did fine. I got to 400 light across all 3 classes without nightfall’s raids or trials. I just played a lot of iron banner and opened a lot of vendor packages.

Pretty sure they bought a looter shooter, expecting something akin to borderlands. I dont see why some complain they cant raid, run trials and such, that baffles me. It's like going to r6 then solo queing and complaining you cant hit diamond. It's meant to be a difficult goal for teams.

12 RepliesOutside of running the story missions, adventures, and lost sectors, there are no solo players in Destiny. I think most players are just asking for more challenging content outside of the Raid and nightfall. Having no in game lfg kills the raid. Not everyone checks the forums out for the game they are playing, nor know about things such as lfg sites. Most probably just say screw it and move on to another game.

2 RepliesAs harsh as It is he is right, I'd rather bungie be focusing on better progression systems and endgame activities that revolve around very challenging and vastly rewarding team activities, rather than bending the knee to solo demands... I liked the nightfall timer grr. The Incentives are gone and that's why people aren't Interested In group activitys, people keep saying they play solo because all there friends don't play, guessing majority of said friends was made in D1 make new aquaintences. That said half of the solo Issue Is due to the design of the game, no in-game lfg no incentives to do group activitys, no easy mode raid match-making to introduce players to raiding.
